00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:04access a secret folder called library on a Mac computer within Finder. Without
00:10further ado let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to
00:14a Mac computer to be able to navigate your way on the Mac within Finder to
00:20navigate and find the folder which is called library which is a hidden folder
00:25so we can now go all the way down to the dock, go to Finder, before we even do that
00:31we can minimize Finder for the moment let's just go all the way down to the dock
00:34go to launchpad search for terminal, click on this, let's just increase the
00:40size of the terminal window
00:43I should do it, clear everything on screen, let's now change directory ls or we can
00:58do ls minus L to list everything on screen and there we see library. If we
01:05minimize terminal for the moment, go all the way down to the dock, go to Finder, go to
01:10computer science videos, the home directory, we cannot see library. Let's go
01:16all the way down to the dock again, go to terminal, let's just click on or open up
01:20library with the command open li tab enter and there you have it. The folder
01:31itself called library is now opened up on screen. That's the first way. If we go
01:40back to the original Finder that we were on, which is on screen now, let's just go
01:45to the top navigation menu, click on go, using the option key, click on that and
01:52now we can locate the library. Click on library and there you go. The secret
01:59hidden folder accessed on screen as mentioned in the previous tutorial which
02:05will be available at the end of this video. Do not delete anything from these
02:11folders unless you are very sure it can be retrieved. The only thing I do delete
02:17is contents within the caches folder because cache will build up, ready to
02:24delete, will be given back to your machine again, ready to delete and so
02:32quit Finder, go back to your terminal, clear everything on screen. We can now
02:39quit terminal and so that's it for this video. I'll see you guys in the next tutorial.
02:45Thanks for now. Thank you for making it towards the end of the video. Be sure to
02:50subscribe to my channel Computer Science Videos. Be sure to check out the previous
02:55video on screen now or you can ideally click on the playlist and watch all the
03:01journey for Computer Science Videos from the start until now.
