00:35And not only so but we glory in tribulations also
00:40knowing that tribulation works patience
00:46and patience works experience
00:49and experience hope
00:52and hope does not make ashamed
00:55because the love of God is shed abroad
00:57in our hearts by the Holy Ghost
00:59which is given to us.
01:02In Numbers 13 verse 23
01:05And they came to the brook of Eshcol
01:08and cut down there from a branch of one cluster of grapes
01:12that they buried between two of them on a staff
01:16it was so big
01:17and they brought of the pomegranates
01:20and of the figs
01:22and the place of that brook is called Eshcol
01:25because of the cluster of grapes
01:27which the children of Israel cut down from there
01:30and they returned from searching the land 40 days
01:34after 40 days
01:36nevertheless

01:43nevertheless the people be strong
01:46he said we are all able to take the land
01:48however the people that dwell in the land are strong

02:50that I'm experiencing right now
02:52it's apostolic urgency
02:54and it's like something is happening
02:58it's like I'm half depressed
03:00and usually that's a sign for intercession
03:03but it's a sign to stand in the gap for something
03:06and so I'm not sure if it's because
03:11Aunty Jackie who comes with Tembi and Aunty Diana
03:15her dad passed away last night
03:17Uncle Aaron Milner
03:19a great veteran
03:20one of the first to serve in government in Zambia
03:23with Kenneth Kounda the Minister of Home Affairs
03:25Uncle Aaron passed away last night
03:27in his late 90's or mid 90's
03:29and served Zambia very well
03:31so that news is saddening
03:33but there's other occasions of people that have lost and so on
03:36but that urgency is not an emotional attachment that I feel
03:39to an event
03:41it's like we are now getting to the place where
03:45we are at the last set of contractions
03:48you know when Cheech was giving birth to the boys
03:51when she pushed our dream
03:53you know she started pushing about
03:58the contractions came on the 21st
04:01the 20th is our anniversary
04:03the 21st we had gone out to eat on the 20th
04:07and ate a lot
04:09Cheechie ate for herself
04:11and as if there were 3 babies there
04:13and then as Tembi was a bit upset
04:15at least that's what we thought
04:17but my mum was with us and said no the baby is coming
04:20and so then at about 2 in the morning
04:22on the 22nd
04:24our bag was ready
04:26and so she said I just felt this foot in my ribs
04:29it's like Jackie Chan hit me in the ribs
04:32and she said phone
04:34and I wondered why the phone wasn't working
04:37but I was actually holding the airbrush
04:40trying to make a phone call
04:42and I was so excited
04:44but anyway
04:46by the time we got to the hospital
04:48and the contractions getting less and less
04:50towards dream being born
04:52the contractions came very very frequently
04:56and women that have given birth in that manner
04:58understand what I'm saying
05:00so what I'm saying is that
05:02contractions are speeding up
05:04because what God is intending to birth in us
05:08and through us
05:10is about to happen
05:12so that's what I'm feeling
05:14I don't know what it is
05:16we all don't know what it is
05:18we know that something is coming
05:20and so it's coming
05:22and so
05:24back to the message
05:26victory belongs to the most tenacious

05:32if you watch Roland Garros at their main center court
05:36they have that huge sign in English and in French
05:38victory belongs to the most tenacious
05:44John Adams the vice president
05:46of the Hamilton administration

05:52because a vice president's role
05:54generally is
05:56tends to be
05:58tends to be ceremonial

06:02is the breaker in the senate
06:04depending on which country you're in

06:56but you have to be ready to take the place

07:14one experience
07:16will make you everything
07:18a young man in our church
07:20a few weeks ago
07:22he came out of the service
07:24somebody gave him the keys
07:26for a car
07:28he came I am nothing
07:30and left with a car
07:32say I am nothing
07:34I am about to be everything
07:36an experience may not go well
07:38and it could lead
07:40to a penundra of
07:42negative events
07:44could lean, incline, or tilt
07:46towards negativity
07:48but just a single moment
07:50can change your life
07:52you might find yourself in a conundrum
07:54of horrible events
07:56but God can turn things
07:58life can
08:00turn things
08:02nature can turn things in a moment
08:04the state of Texas
08:06was experiencing
08:08a drought, a horrible drought
08:10so much so
08:12that animals and stuff were dying
08:14just a
08:16two day tropical storm
08:18went over the whole of Texas
08:20and ended a three and a half year drought
08:22a moment
08:24a moment can change everything
08:26you can be picking up
08:28two sticks
08:30and cooking your last meal for you
08:32and your son to die
08:34but this is the day that Elijah comes
08:36to change your life forever
08:38shall it stretch
08:40my experience
08:42a precipitous
08:44decline in your life
08:46or in a project that you're working on
08:48must not
08:50stop you
08:52if things are going down
08:54it doesn't have to stop you
08:56it should make you more tenacious
08:58to accomplish what you started

09:06success doesn't teach very much

09:16Machiavelli in the book
09:18The Prince, I highly recommend you read that book

09:22teaches Machiavellian principles
09:24of how you can undercut
09:26an individual or individuals
09:28in other words how you can develop a spine
09:30in the midst of tremendous opposition
09:32and in his book
09:34The Prince said
09:36if a man must keep power
09:38he may need to be
09:40immoral from time to time
09:42now I don't agree with that principally
09:44but principally
09:46if you are going for power
09:48if you are going for broke
09:50if you are dealing with the devil
09:52no rules
09:54when you're dealing with the devil
09:56when you're dealing with witchcraft
09:58when you're dealing with nyangas
10:00when you're dealing with sickness
10:02no respect for any of those entities
10:04amen, you're going all the way
10:06no nice girl, no cute girl
10:08no makeup, amen
10:10dainty dainty, no
10:12I'll use every weapon
10:14in my arsenal to make sure
10:16that I grow
10:18and stretch and get what rightfully
10:20belongs to me
10:22so David said I will bless the Lord at all times

10:30winters, nineties, at all times

10:34and his praise shall continually
10:36be where?

10:48may not be able to

10:54and your mind might be bombarded
10:56with all kinds of things
10:58legitimately, illegitimately
11:00against you but one thing
11:02you're not going to yield your mouth to the devil
11:04to say anything bad
11:06so even though it's tough
11:08out there
11:10my mouth will continually
11:12release praise
11:14I will bless the Lord at
11:16I will bless the Lord at
11:18I will bless the Lord at
11:20and his praise shall
11:22in the name of Jesus
11:24amen
11:26and I could deal with mouths here
11:28the earth as a mouth
11:30and so I could deal with mouths
11:32we won't because of time
11:34experience new levels
11:36in the natural
11:38and so when you're blessing the Lord at all times
11:40it's good, bad, up, down
11:42lack, famine, etc, etc
11:44and so
11:46experience is
11:48needful for promotion
11:50you can't
11:52get to a certain place
11:54if you don't experience a thing
11:58and so
12:00you could be
12:02so higher learning
12:04is good for you
12:08a professor that is very
12:10austere and strict
12:12is even better for you
12:14don't have a professor that's
12:16soft on you
12:18because she'll never know if you're really good
12:24higher aspirations for your life
12:26are needful
12:28always aim high
12:30and then in
12:32spiritual things
12:34experience new things in the spirit
12:36so there's a moment here
12:38during the praise and worship
12:40I was able to slip into a spirit language
12:42that I had not spoken to before
12:44it was too brief for me to even be
12:46cognizant of it
12:48but I know something connected in the spirit world
12:50in the service
12:52at the extraordinary prayer meeting
12:54that the ladies had yesterday
12:56or prayer summit
12:58something jumped on me towards the end
13:00I didn't want to leave
13:02because something happened here
13:04and so you have to reach then
13:06for new things in your worship
13:08new things in your prayer
13:10new things in
13:12your maturity of the words
13:14for new things in terms of
13:16the power of God
13:18Romans chapter number 5
13:20and verse 3
13:22and not only so
13:24but we glory
13:26in tribulations knowing that tribulations
13:28works patience
13:30patience experience, experience hope
13:32hope doesn't make ashamed
13:34so tribulation works patience
13:36so if you are
13:38an impatient person, Tudor
13:40you are constantly
13:42going to go through tribulation
13:44and so now
13:46in the last number of weeks
13:48I don't complain
13:50in traffic about bad
13:52drivers, I don't
13:54I just sit there and sing
13:56hallelujah all the time
13:58because
14:00the more I do it, it means I am
14:02impatient, it means I am attracting
14:04tribulation
14:06don't you never say don't complain
14:08don't complain
14:10don't complain
14:12oh Barry it's good to see you, I was looking for you
14:14don't complain, tribulation
14:16works patience, but if you are
14:18a patient person
14:20patience allows you
14:22to experience things
14:24patience
14:26and so you heard about
14:28the patience of Job
14:30the patience of Job
14:32and so being patient
14:34is being able to wait
14:36on the Lord
14:38wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord
14:40if you learn how to
14:42wait on the Lord and be patient
14:44your Isaac
14:46will come, because
14:48if you are impatient
14:50God will create an opportunity
14:52for an Ishmael
14:54impatient, both
14:56boys will start with an I
14:58their names will start with an I
15:00the one is Ish
15:02the other one
15:04is Is
15:06now if you have an Ish, Ish, you are going to be in
15:08trouble, but if it's
15:10Is, in terms of Isaac
15:12you Is
15:14God Is
15:16and so for you, you must
15:18be patient, there are so many of you
15:20here, us here
15:22we are living with Ishmaels
15:24in our life
15:26you couldn't wait for the right man, so you
15:28stuck with the wrong man
15:30stuck with a hippo
15:34you stuck with a lazy lout
15:36you stuck with a woman
15:38that won't do anything
15:40you stuck in the job that you were impatient
15:42with, you stuck in the country that you
15:44weren't supposed to go to
15:48patience
15:50works experience, experience
15:52brings hope
15:54I met
15:56Dr. Debecky
15:58who is a heart surgeon
16:00I was walking with Dr. Roosevelt Alcorn
16:02who gave us the, who contributed to the
16:04medical unit, and I was walking from
16:06Methodist hospital
16:08and we were going in the underground
16:10tunnel underneath the freeway
16:12to the
16:14male hospital
16:16and so
16:18the elevator opened and
16:20Dr. Alcorn said, this is Dr. Debecky
16:22the famous heart surgeon
16:24I was so honored
16:26to meet him
16:28I put my hands out and he said
16:30I can't shake your hand
16:32he said because I'm
16:34working with
16:36doing tying stitches
16:38in my pocket
16:40because I have to stitch hearts
16:42even the hearts of babies
16:44I don't want to waste time
16:46I'm working on stitches
16:48in my pocket, that put me on the ground
16:50that put me
16:52on the ground
16:54because the man has such patience
16:56now he has such experience
16:58that experience brings hope
17:00any bad heart, he knows
17:02he can fix that heart
17:04because if he can tie knots in his
17:06trouser pocket, without
17:08looking at it, looking at a heart
17:10he can fix it
17:12and so experience brings hope
17:14say experience brings hope
17:16and hope
17:18makes not ashamed
17:20hope destroys shame
17:22the lack of confidence
17:24comes
17:26because we are ashamed
17:30the problem with Adam and Eve
17:32after they ate the fruit, instead of
17:34standing before God, choking naked
17:36and say we made a mistake
17:38they were ashamed and hid away
17:40shame will make you hide away
17:42and so
17:44ask God in this process
17:46to help you
17:48to acquire patience and your patience
17:50to give you experience
17:52your experience to develop hope
17:54and for hope in your life
17:56to remove shame
17:58and shame then will bring
18:00in your, removing shame
18:02gives you confidence
18:04you can come before the throne of God
18:06to claim anything that you need
18:08it is
18:10needful to have individuals
18:12that's us
18:14to develop significant
18:16experience
18:18after
18:20independence
18:22in 1980
18:24the city of Harare was
18:28at least most of the suburbs
18:30were populated by Caucasian people
18:32and they left
18:34by the
18:36tens of thousands
18:38by the tens of thousands
18:40in a period of maybe
18:42two years, and you can fact check this
18:44I'm almost right on this
18:46250,000 white people
18:48left Harare
18:52the same happened in
18:54Lorenzo Marx and Baira
18:56Maputo
18:58they left, but when they left

19:02gaping holes

19:22artisans in every field
19:24in the technical world
19:26engineering world, left gaping
19:28holes, because that group
19:30of people refused to teach indigenous
19:32people, because they didn't want
19:34indigenous people to be empowered
19:36and so we
19:38need for Africa, we need
19:40for Zimbabwe, Harare
19:42for this church, individuals
19:44that have
19:46experience
19:48and so we'd like to see
19:50individually, at some point
19:52this church
19:54develop a technical school
19:56in Mutoko
19:58in Chimokopa
20:00and we have artisans here
20:02that can give their time to teaching
20:04trades in plumbing
20:06carpentry, bricklaying
20:08electricals etc
20:10etc etc
20:12and we need experience in those areas
20:14the challenge we have is
20:16is a lack of experience
20:18what we have is a willingness
20:20to do
20:22but to do
20:24is not a qualification
20:26you have to have experience
20:28and so
20:30I hate to give this example but I will
20:32when Sir Alex Ferguson
20:34I couldn't even say
20:36joking
20:40built the super team
20:42that began to win
20:44Premier League
20:46Championship after Championship
20:48one of the key things he did was
20:50he got the Dutch keeper
20:52to come in and play
20:54and he was
20:56an older man
20:58an older man, but Sir Alex said
21:00even though he's older and might not
21:02be as
21:04flexible
21:06what he does have is experience
21:08because he can judge
21:10a play based on plays
21:12he has seen before
21:14what's that guy that crossed us
21:16the Champions League

21:22the problem with him was that
21:24the goal that Bale scored
21:26in the Championship
21:28in the Champions League

21:32could have been saved, the problem was
21:34the youngster didn't have experience
21:36and so
21:38ask God to give you experience which means
21:40you are going to go through some things
21:42so that you can learn some
21:44things, and when you learn
21:46some things you'll be able to be trusted with
21:48what God actually has for you
21:50somebody must say Amen
21:52and so it's not advised
21:54for a 12 year old girl to have
21:56a baby
21:58now physically she might be able to carry
22:00and give birth to a baby
22:02but the child should grow up and get
22:04some experience and learn something
22:06talk to me
22:08talk to me
22:10it is needful for men and women
22:12to grow, develop and gain experience
22:14to be able them to
22:16get positions that they are able to rule
22:18and learn
22:20learn how to govern
22:22we need individuals of experience
22:24I sound like Joe Biden there
22:28we need individuals of experience
22:30to provide vision and direction
22:32we need individuals of experience
22:34with
22:36exposure
22:38to be in leadership
22:40we can't have boys leading us
22:42we need men in men's jobs
22:44we need women
22:46we need women
22:48in positions not girls
22:50we don't need young girls
22:52in women's positions
22:54we must insist that our world
22:56has built into it a pipeline
22:58to create and advance
23:00opportunities for people
23:02to gain experience
23:04we've got to grow in experience
23:06so let's run through a group of people
23:08there's number one, there's Jacob
23:10he has the birthright and the blessing
23:12he doesn't have experience
23:14you got the birthright and the blessing
23:16so for you to get experience
23:18I'm going to use Rachel to entice you
23:20so Rachel shows up
23:22like Naomi Campbell
23:24has no business looking after sheep
23:26here's Naomi coming to the well
23:30and Jacob is like
23:32yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo
23:34God
23:36wants him to have
23:38Rachel eventually
23:40but God needs him to get
23:42experience
23:44and so Rachel then
23:46becomes the worm
23:48to lure the man
23:50and once he's been drawn
23:52into Laban's place
23:54he has a very, very harsh professor
23:56by the name of Laban
23:58a father-in-law
24:00who puts him through 20 years of college
24:02and when Jacob
24:04is now ready to leave
24:06God now trusts him
24:08in chapter number 30
24:10of Genesis with his own flock
24:12where as before
24:14he just got the blessing
24:16he got the birthright
24:18he had servants
24:20they were pedicuring him, manicuring him
24:22hairdoing him, dreading him
24:26and he's just waiting there for the old man to die
24:28and God said no, no, no
24:30that's not going to happen
24:32you can't have the spirit of entitlement
24:34I'm sending you now to university
24:36and I'm going to use Rachel
24:38and then if you're going to learn how to
24:40love what you love
24:42you have to learn how to live with what you don't love
24:44so Leah is going to

24:52God hardly gives you what you love

25:28Moses says to the Lord

25:32I've been battered, I'm ashamed
25:34life has broken me down
25:36I've gone through tribulation
25:38tribulation work of patience
25:40and patience put him in the wilderness
25:42to get experience, looking after sheep
25:44experience began to raise up his hope
25:46hope began to make him confident
25:48now that God knows
25:50he's confident, he says
25:52now I want you to go and address Pharaoh
25:58I can't
26:00talk to Pharaoh
26:02God says now that's right, because I don't want you to talk
26:04I want you to talk
26:06I want to talk through you
26:10now look at the man after 40 years
26:1240 years in Genesis
26:14in Deuteronomy chapter number 34
26:16in Deuteronomy 34
26:18and Joshua
26:20the son of Nun
26:22full of the spirit of wisdom
26:24for Moses laid his hands on him
26:26put his hands on him
26:28and the Bible says there was not a prophet
26:30like unto Israel
26:32like Moses
26:34but how did Moses become that prophet
26:36going from one experience after the next
26:38turn to your neighbor and say
26:40you need experience
26:42let's look at King David and his life
26:44David
26:46David's life is
26:48extremely fascinating
26:50and so with King David's
26:52brothers, he had to
26:54learn experiences
26:56learn suffering
26:58learn trouble
27:00learn challenge
27:02because God wanted him
27:04to be the king
27:06so that Jesus could come
27:08through him as a
27:10royal monarch
27:12and so in David's life
27:14through the process of his life
27:16he had to go through every
27:18conceivable experience
27:20firstly
27:22when people were not watching
27:24killed a bear and a lion
27:26and then publicly a giant
27:28turn to your neighbor and say you need experience
27:30in chapter number
27:3222 of 1st Samuel
27:34the Bible says
27:36400 men
27:38came to him that were in
27:40debt, that were broken down
27:42and messed up
27:44and David had to learn how to treat
27:46and teach those men
27:48the cave he found himself
27:50when Saul was chasing him
27:52he was in a cave
27:54with Saul
27:56and the inexperienced men said to David
27:58here's an opportunity
28:00to kill Saul and take the throne
28:02and David's like
28:04if I don't earn the throne
28:06if I kill to get the throne
28:08I'm going to have to kill to get everything
28:10else I need in my life
28:12I'm going to earn this throne
28:14tell someone you gotta earn this thing
28:16David went through
28:18the experience in Ziklag where he
28:20lost everything
28:22but he learned how to
28:24encourage himself in the Lord
28:26if you lose everything
28:28is your heart still pure
28:30or do you blame God and say
28:32why did I ever get acquainted
28:34with God
28:36if you are able as an individual
28:38through a bad experience to say
28:40in God I trust and in God
28:42I live, I'll never curse
28:44God and die
28:46David went through every experience
28:48from bad experience in Ziklag
28:50to bringing the ark back
28:52onto Mount Zion
28:54David went through all kinds of experiences
28:56he restored the life
28:58of Mephibosheth who was a
29:00crippled prince
29:02whose dad was in
29:04covenant with David, his name was
29:06Jonathan. David went through
29:08a dark time in his life
29:10couldn't handle seeing a
29:12woman take a bath without lusting
29:14after her, killed her husband
29:16and was then said to be
29:18a man of honor and then God
29:20told him you are very evil to what you have done
29:22you have initiated
29:24stuff in your life that you won't be able
29:26to deal with but David then
29:28wrote Psalm 51
29:30and said Lord my sin is gross
29:32forgive me of all my sins
29:34don't take your
29:36Holy Spirit away from me
29:38give me another chance
29:40O Lord
29:42David couldn't write that Psalm
29:44for some of us to benefit
29:46from it, if he hadn't
29:48taken Bathsheba
29:50and if Bathsheba had
29:52bathed in a bathroom, David would never have
29:54seen her and so a bad
29:56experience with Bathsheba
29:58why wasn't she
30:00showersheba, she was Bathsheba
30:02Amen, if you are going to
30:04bath outside, bath with your clothes on
30:06but God
30:08used a bad thing to bring wisdom
30:10out of Solomon
30:12David did a foolish
30:14thing, look at God
30:16David did a foolish
30:18thing, but out of foolishness
30:20God raised
30:22up the wisest man in the world
30:24God
30:26can take a bad experience
30:28and make a good thing
30:30come out of it, shout
30:32Lord I need another chance
30:34David
30:36experienced a crew in his
30:38world, his own son
30:40tried to take him out
30:42but David also experienced
30:44a higher level of worship
30:46when he got to Onan's
30:48threshing floor and said I got
30:50to pay for this thing
30:52I caused a problem in Israel
30:54I'm going to pay for this altar
30:56it was a good experience
30:58in 23 of
31:002 Samuel
31:02David's 40 great men
31:04are listed, sisters
31:06and brothers, you can't
31:08be a great king
31:10you can't be a great queen
31:12you can't be a great CEO
31:14you can't be a great
31:16managing director, you can't
31:18be a great apostle
31:20if you're not willing to have bad
31:22experiences and manage
31:24good experience, turn to
31:26your neighbor and say your problem is
31:28you lack experience
31:32that's your problem, you lack
31:34experience, I know you're a
31:36doctor and you can be a good one
31:38but you're not operating on my
31:40if you haven't operated on a
31:42dummy first, you're not
31:44operating on me if you haven't dissected
31:46a rat first, my
31:48problem is I lack experience
31:50we have too many
31:52African pastors, apostles
31:54and prophets who have a
31:56great anointing on their life
31:58and they go into the field
32:00without experience
