00:00Hello everyone. I have never heard of White Castle cookies. Never heard of them. Never heard of them at all.
00:10Don't know much about them. They're chocolate chip butter cookies. Now, I've never heard of these.
00:15I've heard of White Castle hamburgers that I've never had in my life.
00:20I even know there's a movie, a very funny movie, where people would go and go all the way there
00:26because they had a craving for White Castle hamburgers, but I don't know much about this at all.
00:33I saw this at Dollar Tree. Figured I'd pick it up. I looked online. They have a whole bunch of things,
00:38but they also have different writing here. They got the English version, the French,
00:43and I think that's Japan or Chinese. I'm not really sure. So it says here it's a Canada product,
00:50T.I. Foods. Mark them. So I'm not really sure, and there's not a lot of ingredients in these cookies.
00:58The calories are 160. The fat is 11. The saturated fat is 25. The fiber is 0. The sugar is 8.
01:06And there's no cholesterol. And the sodium is 6%. Potassium is 1. Calcium is 0. And iron is 3.
01:15So I'm not really sure. Now it says here wheat flour, main ingredient. Sugar, butter, margarine, palm oil,
01:22chocolate chip, liquid whole egg cocoa powder, syrup, milk, raisins. Sodium and a few other words.
01:32Salt is the last ingredient. Contains wheat, so it's not gluten-free. But that's all I really know.
01:38And they have emails and websites and telephones and fax. But let me open this up and see what's going on here.
01:52Oh, look! I wasn't expecting this. That's not something I was expecting. Look. It's in a nice...
02:00This is a nice... I kind of wish it was in a Ziploc bag. I would just unzip it.
02:05I don't really want to break the bag now, because I like the bag. It sounds like the cookies, though, are broken.
02:12Probably through all the shipping and all that. Let's see if I can open this up in an easy way.
02:19Ah, shoot.
02:29Oh, look! So this is...
02:36Okay, so they come in... I would have never expected this. They come in little things like this.
02:49So you open it up and it seems like there's two full cookies in here. Some of them are completely broken, but I think each one contains two cookies.
02:57So you have two cookies in each one, and this one's broken. A lot of the cookies in there are actually broken.
03:03So I'm just going to try these two.
03:07And I'm not really a big cookie person. I'm sure I've said this before in another review.
03:12I used to run home when my mom was baking cookies. And as soon as they came out of the oven, I wanted them hot.
03:17And I wanted them soft. And I wanted to burn my mouth.
03:21And boy, most of the time I did. There was no cookie jar to break. There was no cookie jar to get up on the shelf and break.
03:29Or hide away. The cookies wouldn't last as soon as she baked them.
03:33She tried to bake them, but I could smell them, especially in the backyard.
03:37So this is a hard cookie. It's not soft. And I'm more of a fan of soft cookies, but let's see.
03:53For what it is, it's not a bad cookie.
03:59I'm actually kind of addicted to it.
04:03I do taste the margarine.
04:07So I do know there's margarine in this cookie. I do taste that.
04:13But as you can see, there's not really too many chocolate chips.
04:17They kind of have them at the top, but you don't see them in the middle.
04:21There's no gooey stuff that comes out.
04:25Yeah, I do taste the margarine. But it's not heavy on the chocolate.
04:43It's a nice flavor, though. It has a nice flavor to it that I wasn't expecting.
04:49I knew nothing about this company. And it was only $1.50. I bought them at Dollar Tree.
04:56I saw them going, okay, I know nothing about this company.
04:59I looked it up. I couldn't really find too much online, except you can buy all sorts of different ones.
05:06But there's more information on the back. I guess I was just stupid and I didn't look at the back.
05:11Because I kind of want to do that with you guys.
05:16I shouldn't say guys. Jeez, I'm thinking in the 80s.
05:21To my audience, to everyone.
05:24So to everyone out there, when I do reviews, I want to be surprised, just like you.
05:31So I don't read the back. I don't know anything.
05:34I just buy it, I look at the front, obviously, and then I review it.
05:40I like them. I like these, actually. I have addicted to them now.
05:47And I like the fact they come in little cups like this.
05:51But it would be kind of cool, see? A lot of them are broken.
05:56So there's like one, two, three, four, five.
05:59So there's ten cookies in total. Oh, shoot.
06:03I would have preferred a Ziploc bag or something, though, sadly enough.
06:08Because the thing is, what they could have done here, they could have had a Ziploc bag that you zip it out, eat, and then put it back in the Ziploc bag.
06:17It would be much easier for me.
06:21Because if you're going on a picnic or something, these are perfect.
06:25Well, everyone, I would give these a 7.5 out of 10.
06:31I do like them quite a bit. Actually, I like them better.
06:34No aftertaste. You know what? I give them an 8 out of 10.
06:37I actually really like these. And I'm surprised.
06:40White Castle Cookies, they have a range of many others.
06:43And I might try them. They're all at Dollar Tree that I've seen recently.
06:46Bye for now.
06:55Bye for now, everyone, and have an incredible day.
06:57Hopefully I can put this back in there.
07:00I guess that's what I was kind of hoping for.
07:03I didn't really want to break the bag. Bye for now.
07:06And check out my other reviews and much more.
07:08Have a wonderful day, everyone, and thank you for watching.
