00:14The debate prep, you know, includes some discussion about issues, but a lot of it is about the
00:20candidates performance.
00:21And so we had mock debates.
00:24We had someone playing Mitt Romney.
00:26We had someone playing the moderator.
00:28We would go over not just issues but lines of attack, how he, you know, zingers, lines
00:34that he needed to use, things he needed to be ready for.
00:37So I'm sure Joe Biden is doing the same thing.
00:41Ron Klain is running his debate prep.
00:43He ran Obama's debate prep as well.
00:45And they're at Camp David and they have a whole mock debate set up.
00:49So it looks like just like the real stage and someone's playing Donald Trump as well.
00:52He definitely has to answer questions about his age.
00:54He definitely has to show that he's energetic.
00:56I think he also actually has to be forceful, like he doesn't have to go attack Donald Trump,
01:00but I think part of the concerns about his age are what's underlying that is concerns
01:05that he is too weak to be president, right, that he is not in control of events around
01:11him.
01:12And so I think the best way to rebut that is to clearly state your values.
01:16Talk about what you've done.
01:17Talk about what you're going to do.
01:18And also, by the way, give those undecided voters that you were talking about new information
01:23about Donald Trump that they don't know.
01:25There's gonna be an overall strategy for Joe Biden, which I think he wants people to leave
01:28this debate thinking that Joe Biden is someone who is fighting for people and Donald Trump
01:34is someone who is only fighting for himself.
01:37And that's a strategy that works, whether it's a disciplined Donald Trump, whether it's
01:40crazy Donald Trump, even if he's disciplined for 90 minutes, Joe Biden can still point
01:44out all of the horrible things Donald Trump did as president and all the things he has
01:51proposed to do if he gets another four years and sort of remind people that this is the
01:55guy who tried to steal the last election and cited an insurrection on the Capitol and would
02:01be pretty dangerous to be president for the next four years.
02:05So I think that's going to be Joe Biden's main goal.
