00:00So much of our show, you know, you shoot so close to all of us, and what that allows you to do as an actor is really try to discover an inner life, and trust that the camera is a very sensitive instrument, and that the camera will sort of pick up something if you're feeling it, and it's honest and true.
00:21And so I think, like, I've found a lot of, like, trust in myself as a performer to not kind of, like, force or push that, like, if something real is happening with you, you know, the audience will feel it, the camera will pick it up.
00:34So yeah, I think that's, like, a great lesson learned in this time.
00:39Well, I think a lot about, especially women of color who have come before me and didn't get opportunities like this, even though they've definitely deserved them, even more so, and so it makes me feel very good to know that more people, you know, and not, I don't know, of other groups and other ilks can have the same happen for them, and sooner and better, yeah.
01:03We wouldn't have a hospitality industry here, you know, you wouldn't eat another salad, you know, without us, and so those stories, like, just look at the person standing beside you, there's so much, and I love that.
01:19I love that Tina is not dispensable, she's not invisible for now, and that people feel seen.
01:30People are telling me that they have a Tina in their restaurant, that they have a Tina in their family, and that's the highest compliment.
01:39Filmmaking has gotten really, like, a bit more impressionistic, a bit more poetic.
01:46It's nice, it's like a beautiful luxury to sort of not have to be a slave to, like, exposition and sort of, like, sort of traditional character structure, traditional, like, filmic, like, coverage and stuff, and they just, like, it's become, I don't know, like, hopefully a more pure creative expression of Christopher Storr's vision and the rest of us as our little, like, company that makes this thing.
02:10Like, to me, I'm inspired that, like, okay, writer and, like, acting-driven stuff that's, like, not very sexy or, like, you know, like, it's all very based in, like, our world and family-based.
02:24To me, that's where the good stuff is, and it makes me hopeful, cautiously optimistic that it will inspire other shows to, like, you know, follow in the path of that.
