00:00Now, I have a question there.
00:06What we have thought in conflict management is when you are dealing with conflict, the
00:09best way is to allow each other to take the other person's perspective and then come to
00:19a resolution through compromise.
00:21The current state of the world doesn't seem to be so.
00:24In fact, there are economic incentives to even keep the conflict open.
00:29Okay, so how do you combat this system, especially in the current state of wokeism, where wokeism
00:35is actually gaining a lot of currency.
00:38You can't even, you know, be in the camp of ignorance is a bliss or be fancy.
00:44That's one thing, sir.
00:45And secondly, I'm all about hypocrisy.
00:47In fact, I believe almost every human is a hypocrite.
00:50But what I don't understand is entitlement, which comes with hypocrisy.
00:55Like for example, everything to religion, from religion to climate change.
01:00How come, you know, and a middle class Indian switching on his air condition with coal powered
01:07electricity, you know, is committing a great blasphemy against environment.
01:12But EV cars, which are essentially made from materials which are obtained from destruction
01:17of Amazon rainforest, is considered eco-friendly.
01:22And also adding to the wealth of super rich.
01:26So that's just propaganda, no?
01:29That's just lack of knowledge.
01:35So once you make it known that the very battery in an EV car is actually an environmental
01:44disaster, the kind of elements that are used in it, and how rare they are, and how much
01:53soil must be unearthed to just get to that.
01:58And then the fact that countries like India have mostly coal fired plants.
02:10So even if you have to charge that battery, then you are burning coal.
02:15You make that known.
02:18And then the moral superiority, the ethical value attached with an EV car goes down.
02:29This one is a clear case of lack of propaganda.
02:34Propaganda is a great thing.
02:35You need to publicize the right information.
02:41And the corporations selling those cars won't do that obviously.
02:45So you have to do that.
02:47And you have the power of social media on your side.
02:51Post as much as you can, ask people to share, let people know.
03:00He asked a lengthy question, I don't think I've answered all of it.
03:04What was it?
03:06All conflict starts first of all within, does it not?
03:13Wars first start in the mind.
03:20We say that when a war is already raging within, then enemies necessarily appear from all sides
03:36externally.
03:38Wars are first of all internal.
03:43And then you look for enemies outside.
03:50So knowing yourself is the way, inner education is the way.
03:55And if you don't have inner education, all you have is scientific education and technological
04:02advancement.
04:04Then you are giving more and more sophisticated tools to people who are internally ignorant.
04:16The fellow does not know what he wants, but he has his finger on the nuke button.
04:24What would he do?
04:25Internally flustered, ignorant, hateful, unfulfilled, angry and jealous.
04:39And he is commanding nuclear forces.
04:45He can launch an ICBM.
04:47What do you expect now?
04:54Most of the nuclear powers are democracies, are they not?
04:59So we have politicians sitting as the commanders of the armies.
05:09Now on one hand we keep blasting our politicians as very very disgusting people.
05:24On the other hand, we have given them our nuclear stockpiles to command and fire.
05:35Don't you see that's a very odd, inflammable combo?
05:43The same politician that you accuse of being a rioter, an arsonist, a corrupt person, a
06:05wild man, sometimes even a murderer.
06:14The same politician then becomes the Prime Minister, the President or somebody.
06:23And this person is commanding 400 nuclear warheads now.
06:30Don't you see how precarious our position is?
06:36The entire world loves to hate, let's say, somebody like Trump.
06:45And you would even say that he is an imbecile, he is mentally unstable, emotionally he is a wreck.
06:51All those things were said about him, no?
06:57And what was he commanding?
07:00The world's largest nuclear force capable of destroying the earth at least 20 times over.
07:11That's the might of the US nuclear arsenal.
07:14Not one country, it can destroy the entire planet 20 times over.
07:23And when you are that kind of a person inside, as we said, you will necessarily be able to
07:32locate if not create enemies on the outside.
07:36That's the reason why powerful countries have to necessarily get into conflicts.
07:44If there is no war, then power starts feeling suffocated.
07:53What do you do with all these sleek missiles?
07:58See how beautiful they look, they must be put to use.
08:03So then you search for wars, then you search for wars.
08:08Now you are saying there is so much conflict in the world.
08:15That conflict is coming from the mind of the man, which man am I talking of?
08:20Not just the decision maker, but actually all those who put the decision maker in the chair.
08:28And who are those people?
08:29You and me.
08:32Because there is darkness in our mind, so we put dark people in positions of power.
08:38Do you see that?
08:41You will do as you are and that implies you will vote as you are, no?
08:48So if the common man is steeped in ignorance, that's the kind of leaders he is going to
08:57select or elect, correct?
09:01And then they will fight, then they will fight.
09:09Is it surprising?
09:11Is that not obvious?
09:12So what is the solution?
09:15Mass awareness is the solution.
09:19It cannot be a top-down thing, it has to arise from the grassroots.
09:30You have to know what is valuable.
09:34You have to know that knowledge, realization, freedom are more important than anything else.
09:50And then there is a solution to conflict, otherwise you can keep having any numbers
09:55of conferences and summits, nothing comes out of it.
10:01In fact, we had a few particular conferences, the Second World War came out of that.
10:11You know, the Second World War was born out of actually a treaty, the Treaty of Persia.
10:23So you can actually get together and have a conference and that conference results in
10:28a world war and you will say it's a peace conference, it's a conference to keep the
10:34universe in one piece.
10:46It has to begin with you, it has to begin with me, there is no other way.
10:53This might sound old-fashioned, not very exciting, but sorry, this is the only solution.
11:00And if this is not the solution, then calamity is the option.
11:07The ones who are my age or older than me in this room will probably escape with lesser
11:21damage because we anyway don't have too many decades to live.
11:27But you people have what, five decades, six decades, on an average that's how long you live.
11:35So the onus is on you to not let the planet degrade beyond a point.
11:45You are inheriting it, you will be inhabiting it, the older ones who are ruining it would
11:57ruin it and be gone and all the muck and the debris will be on your head.
12:09So it's you who should stand up.
12:15The 70 and 80 year olds are doing all kinds of nonsense and they will happily die now.
12:24You will be left to bear the brunt.
12:28Don't let them do what they are doing.
12:37Social media, democracy, technology, they are in some sense great equalizers.
12:46Even a common man today has a voice, use that voice.
12:53Even the president of the world is just a Twitter account and you too have that.
12:59Even the president cannot have two accounts, leverage that.
13:10And if you don't leverage that, then all kinds of disgusting forces are there to leverage that.
13:18You know the kind of stuff that goes viral on social media.
13:28So all the disgusting creatures are very efficiently and very dedicatedly doing their jobs.
13:44And the ones who mean well to the planet are just conferring and conferring and thinking
13:52and hesitating.
13:54Where does that leave us?
14:01Get up, fight, stand up for what you know is right.
14:11Make your life and this planet worth living.
14:18I am preaching, so sorry.
14:23I am preaching, so sorry.
