00:29the priority bills that were agreed upon by the Senate and the House of Representatives
00:35will be passed before the current session ends.
00:38This includes the reform of the Philippine Capital Markets,
00:42Archipelagic Sea Lanes Act,
00:44Amendments to the Right-of-Way Act,
00:46Excise Tax on Single-Use Plastics,
00:49and Rationalization of the Mining Fiscal Regime.
00:52There are also Amendments to the Electric Power Industry Reform Act or IPIRA,
00:57Department of Water Resources,
00:59Create More Act,
01:01Amendments to the Foreign Investors Long-Term Lease Act,
01:04and Amendments to the Rice Tarification Law.
01:06For the second list of priorities are the Blue Economy Act,
01:10Enterprise-Based Education and Training Framework Act,
01:14Amendments to the Universal Health Care Act,
01:17Open Access in Data Transmission Act,
01:19Waste-to-Energy Bill,
01:21Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps or ROTC,
01:24and Unified System of Separation, Retirement, and Pensionability in Uniformed Personnel.
01:30Also included are the E-Government Act or E-Governance Act,
01:34Amendments to the Agrarian Reform Law,
01:36and the Philippine Immigration Act.
01:38The other priority bills that are in the advanced stages of deliberation
01:42are the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act,
01:45Amendments to the Government Procurement Reform Act,
01:49Anti-Financial Accounts Scamming Act,
01:51Self-Reliant Defense Posture Revitalization Act,
01:55and Philippine Maritime Zones Act.
01:58Also included are the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning or Aral Program Act,
02:03and VAT on Digital Services,
02:05and New Government Auditing Code.
02:07As of now, 17 bills have been passed to become law
02:11from the 59 LEDAC Common Legislative Agenda Bills
02:14that are planned to be passed in the 19th Congress.
02:17Senate President Francis Escudero is positive
02:20that the passing of the so-called bills
02:22will help in supporting the socio-economic transformation
02:26of the administration of President Marcos.
02:28House Speaker Martin Romualdez also gave
02:31the importance of these legislative measures
02:34to the development of the country,
02:35which was pointed out by President Marcos.
