00:08Holiday scams are massive at the moment. They really are a really big problem, especially
00:13during the cost of living crisis and also throughout the pandemic. And over 50% of those
00:19surveyed said that they felt particularly vulnerable to holiday scams at the moment.
00:24There's a lot of people out there who were thinking, right, this is the first year that
00:28I maybe might not be able to afford to go on holiday, or, you know, I'm really cutting
00:32back on other areas of my life to be able to scrape by and get myself, you know, away
00:37because we deserve our breaks and our holidays, don't we? They're really, really important.
00:41But there's also a lot of people that are sort of overly cautious and maybe not making
00:46those bookings. So, you know, it's really important that we know what the pitfalls are,
00:51know some of the signs to look out for, and just make sure we do that research and double
00:55check everything and sort of be scam aware, really.
