00:00WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has left the U.K. a free man after reaching a plea
00:05deal with the U.S. in his espionage trial.
00:09Assange will plead guilty to one felony charge, down from the 18 counts he originally faced
00:14over the release of confidential U.S. military records.
00:18Under the deal, he will get 62 months in prison, but with that time already served in the U.K.,

00:26The WikiLeaks founder is reportedly now headed to a court in Northern Mariana Islands, a
00:31U.S. territory in the Pacific, to have the deal signed off by a federal judge.
00:36The deal comes after more than a decade-long standoff with the U.S. Justice Department,
00:41which sought to extradite him to the United States.
