Rotation Motion, Newton's 2nd Law for Pure Rotation Motion, IIT-JEE/NEET #neet #jeemains #rotation
In this live Lecture I'll discuss Newton's 2nd Law in Pure Rotation Motion for JEE Mains and NEET.
Rotation or rotational motion is the circular movement of an object around a central line, known as axis of rotation. A plane figure can rotate in either a clockwise or counterclockwise sense around a perpendicular axis intersecting anywhere inside or outside the figure at a center of rotation.
Newton's second law for rotation, ∑iτi=Iα ∑ i τ i = I α , says that the sum of the torques on a rotating system about a fixed axis equals the product of the moment of inertia and the angular acceleration. This is the rotational analog to Newton's second law of linear motion.
Newton's second law of motion states that “Force is equal to the rate of change of momentum. For a constant mass, force equals mass times acceleration.
Newton's laws of motion are three physical laws that describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces acting on it.
