00:00Maybe it's the first domino and it's funny that Brawny James might be that
00:06first domino on Mike Fisher on the NBA. Obviously it's really LeBron James, but
00:11the fate of the NFL draft and Brawny James, the prospect there, LeBron's son,
00:16that is a key piece to what's going to happen in the NBA this offseason. There's
00:21no argument there. The argument is maybe how much authority should the James
00:27family have in dictating all of this? Apparently quite a bit. The NFL knows how
00:32this works and has for years. The NBA knows how this works. I still say it
00:39somehow isn't really the fault of the teams ahead of the Dallas Mavericks that
00:44those teams missed on Luka Doncic. I don't think they missed on him. I think
00:50this thing was orchestrated by Doncic and at the time Donnie Nelson and the
00:55Dallas Mavericks. Well now we have it again in a way where the the fate of
01:01Brawny and the future of LeBron tied together. Go back to the Lakers,
01:06certainly in play. They just hired LeBron's podcast partner JJ Reddick,
01:12former Maverick, former a lot of things, as their head coach. But the Knicks are a
01:18player in pursuing a big guy and we're seeing a lot of Knicks speculation on
01:24secondary guys and six men. The Knicks don't need an eighth man. They got
01:30that. We've seen obviously the Pacers make their first big move. More to come
01:36there. A lot of what the Pacers are going to do probably is going to be
01:40limited in terms of dollars and cents. But this is a team not unlike the Knicks
01:45that is on the verge. The Spurs get to be in the conversation here. There's no
01:50question about that. Wembley makes all things possible. You put Wembley and Pop
01:55together and give me some assets and some room and San Antonio is all of a
02:00sudden once again, again, an attractive place, an attractive landing spot for
02:06somebody who wants to go win a lot of basketball games. Klay Thompson, that
02:09decision seems to be made maybe by both parties. The report from the Athletic
02:14that the Warriors at this moment as we speak haven't even made him an offer. So
02:18change is afoot with the Warriors as well. And then of course the Dallas
02:22Mavericks, a team to watch now because they've been in the West Finals twice
02:28in the last three years, been in the NBA Finals this past year. Yes, the Celtics
02:32manhandled them. But to shame the Mavericks because they are only the
02:38second best team in basketball seems not only unfair but also foolish and maybe
02:43dangerous to sell them short in terms of what they might do in terms of talent
02:48acquisition to acquire themselves even more skilled players. Remember, because
02:54of the trade deadline and the moves they made there, this is a team that's only
02:57been together for five months or so. The future Kyrie says is bright, the future
03:01Luka says is bright and they are not wrong. But some shoes about to drop here
03:06in this NBA offseason. On the NBA, Fish out.
