00:21Hello, I'm Jasmine. I am a rural generalist intern at Bundaberg Hospital. I've just recently moved up to Queensland from regional Victoria. I got really hooked on the people here essentially, but also the beautiful weather and I've just loved working in regional Queensland.
00:39There's so much to offer. The people are really grateful for everything you do in the health service and it's just a great sense of community that I've found in the rural doctors Queensland space.
00:53I think that I would encourage every single person to move out to regional and remote areas, especially as a student or a junior doctor to give it a go. If everyone did a little bit of time out in the country, we wouldn't have as many issues with workforce as we do.
01:09So I just encourage you to give it a go and being at a conference like this is just a wonderful way to reinvigorate ourselves and remind ourselves why we're doing this work. I'm just very happy to be here.
