00:01I say that it's also very personal to me.
00:04I want to make sure that women get the support and the justice that they deserve and that
00:09we do make sure that we've got services that are available for women around rape and sexual
00:14violence and there are important provisions already there within the Equality Act that
00:18allow for single sex provision and it's important those are maintained.
00:22But let's alongside that make sure that trans people too get the support that they need.
00:26I don't believe it's an either or.
00:28But I would say really do judge us on what we've done in the past to support women and
00:32look at what we're setting out right now to make sure that we get rape prosecutions, that
00:36we tackle domestic violence, that young women in our schools feel safe, aren't experiencing
00:40sexual harassment.
00:41That's a big concern to me as well.
