A lad is cycling 12,000 miles from the UK to Australia just like his dad did 40 years ago - using the same model bike.
Jamie Hargreaves, 22, has been 'raised on his Father's story' - so on the 13 May, he set off to embark on his own epic journey around the world, from Manchester to Australia.
The university graduate from Stockport is documenting his adventure across his social media - and hopes to write a book when he completes the mission to draw upon from his Dad's experience of the world from 1984 in comparison to Jamie's in the present day.
Jamie, who is also an experienced climber, said: "I have always been so intrigued by my Dad's story - and I absolutely love him for his adventures around the world that throughout my life have inspired me.

00:37Today we set off for the Ardennes Forest, making our way to Germany,
00:41with the intention of getting to Nuremberg.
00:43However, this was all put on hold, as I made a new friend.
00:46I'm calling him Bob.
00:50We left Bob and continued cycling down an old railway to a castle town.
00:57Once I got to Nuremberg, I thought I'd treat myself to a pint and a pizza.
01:01You know, deserved it.
01:03The sunset was bloody beautiful.

01:45We set off towards Koblenz, heading down country roads and dirt tracks.
01:50Always fun to fall off the bike.
01:52Nice and muddy.
01:54I found this cool little fountain thing, so I filled up my bottles and had a little dip.
01:59I spent a lot of the day cycling down dirt tracks in this beautiful valley.
02:04Quick stop to fix some loose screws and that, and then back to it.

02:13Nothing like a quick stop at a little bakery to replenish those calories.
02:19Look at that.
02:21I find it kind of mad how in Germany they don't really seem to guard their train tracks.
02:26They just leave them open.
02:30Sun's out, and you know what that means? The cheese booty is back in action.
02:35Looking like a git, I headed to Munich.
02:38I checked in at the hostel, then went for a look around.
02:41Found this really creepy carousel clock thing.
02:45Made some duck friends.
02:48Then watched some mad fellas surfing in Ingrid's Park.
02:54Protests always going on.
02:56Now I think it's time for a stein.
02:58Or many.
03:00Some fresh fruit and veg, as requested by mum, then headed to a church.
03:05Met the sandman.
03:09I then got some friends I made to sound the ukulele.
03:12And I ended my stay in Munich with a pizza.
03:15Oh yeah, I stumbled across this whilst on my way to Novigrad.
03:21And I come down here.
03:25I didn't realise this until about a minute ago.
03:29But...
03:32Oh my god, crocs are not the one to walk over rocks.
03:39Especially with wet feet.
03:41But look at this.
03:43Got a little setup over here.
03:46And then the beautiful view of course.
03:49So, this one is good.
03:51And yeah, I'm dripping for a swim. It's fucking lovely.
03:53So, yeah.
