00:00A special night for the club, what was your take on the performance, first of all?
00:04In the spirit of Rob, we spoke about it a couple of times since Rob passed,
00:14about being brave and courageous and standing up and being a team-mate.
00:22So that's all we asked and the boys got out there and delivered 100% on that.
00:28So yeah, it was definitely in the spirit of Rob.
00:31Adrian Lam just said that at times it felt like Leeds had some help from above tonight,
00:36did it feel like that to you guys?
00:39I think he'd be able to, yeah.
00:41I was just actually mentioned to a couple of the boys that the long-range try,
00:47I was fortunate to score that, I've never scored a try that far
00:51and I honestly felt like an out-of-body experience as weird as it sounds.
00:57I felt like there was someone else with me on it, so yeah, definitely that comment.
01:03What about your reaction to the tries as well, where was that coming from?
01:07Oh, just the whole occasion.
01:09As soon as we knew this was the M&D round throughout,
01:15and then obviously when Rob passed a couple of weeks ago now,
01:20you circled it even more, you've already circled it in your calendar,
01:24you just keep circling it because he's a big one,
01:27not just the club but his family, the M&D community.
01:35And I think the boys showed that tonight, like Shep touched on,
01:39particularly some of our younger boys just turning up there,
01:42tackling boys over the sideline, showing up for try savers.
01:48Yeah, it was unbelievable, the effort that went in
01:52and I'm just so pleased that we could get the result.
01:55Shep, it's particularly difficult for you obviously being a former team-mate of Rob's,
01:59how difficult in particular have the last few days been for you personally?
02:04Yeah, very difficult.
02:07Two friends, right, Ryan's a friend as well.
02:12So on a personal level it's been difficult, on a professional level,
02:16and I said it to the boys yesterday, we have to come to work.
02:20So, yeah, for Rob though, it's relieved more than anything,
02:26desperate to get that win for him and his family,
02:29his mum and dad, his kids and his wife.
02:33So yeah, it's a relief more than a feeling factor.
