00:00You have to bring voter ID along to vote with you, but also if you haven't got a form of ID, you can apply for a voter authority certificate, but that deadline is before the general election.
00:13So if you haven't got a piece of ID, and young people are showing that they are potentially less likely to have a form of ID, you can get one, but it has to be before that deadline.
00:25So if you miss that deadline, you are completely missing your opportunity to use your vote.
00:30And I personally find that really not something that I personally agree with, but it is something that has now been in place for a few elections.
00:39But disabled people, unemployed people are groups that are also more likely to not have a piece of photo ID.
00:47And I think it means that there are a lot of young and marginalised people that will miss out on their opportunity to vote.
00:52So I really encourage people to go and look at the list and check that they've got one, and if not, to apply for a certificate.
