00:42Thank you, man. We built hundreds of miles of wall. It was so great. Mexico is not thrilled.

00:51I went to Mexico. I said, you're going to take back the people you sent in.

00:55They said, no, no. I said, in fact, you have to do more than that. You sent so many people.

00:58You have to give us 28,000 soldiers. They said, no, why would we do that?

01:05The president, who I liked actually, he's a socialist, but we got along very well.

01:09I got along good with all of them, but that didn't mean they loved my policy.

01:12My policy was brutal. I mean, think of it. China never paid us 10 cents, I told you.

01:18Now they pay us hundreds of millions, you think? And I like President Xi,

01:22but do you think he really likes me too much? In fact, Biden's having a hard time taking off

01:26the tariffs because it's so much money coming in. He doesn't know what to do.

01:31But he'll do what a communist tell him to do. But think of it. So Mexico said, no, no, no,

01:38we're not going to give you 28,000. I said, yes, you will, 100 percent. And they said,

01:42we're not going to give you one. They laughed at me. They thought, what kind of a person is this?

01:47I would ask for such a stupid request. I said, no, no, you're going to give it 100 percent.

01:53And I had it out a little bit with the president. I said, listen, you and I are friends. Just send

01:57me a negotiator, please. And they sent the man. And you've heard this. I told them a couple of

02:02times. Handsome man from Mexico, tall, dark and handsome. He was wearing the most beautiful suit

02:09I've ever seen. And I wanted to ask him, who is he? Taylor? But I said, that's not a good way to

02:14start an investigation. So I figured I wouldn't do that. I'd stick with this guy. But I said,

02:22listen, we wanted you. And I said to the secretary of state and I said to people that work in the

02:27State Department, give me a best of list, 10 best of. I want your best of, the 10 things that you

02:34want. And they wrote 10 things down. And a woman from the State Department, a very nice woman,

02:41but a lousy negotiator. She said, sir, we've been asking for these things for 25 years. You're not

02:46going to get them. I said, 100 percent, I'll get them. She said, you won't, sir. I said, just sit

02:51back and watch. So this gentleman came in with a beautiful suit, handsome guy. And I said,

02:57I want 28,000 soldiers. I want a thing called Remain in Mexico, meaning everybody has to remain

03:04in Mexico. They can't come into our country until they're vetted and checked, which was very few

03:08people came in. We had the best border in history. Now we have the worst border in the history of

03:17the world. But she said, I want 28,000. I want Remain in Mexico. Nobody comes in until they're

03:24vetted and checked. I want catch and release. You know catch and releases? We catch and release,

03:29and then we release the people into our country. She said, come back in five years for a court

03:33case. But nobody ever comes back, except for the really stupid ones, nobody ever comes back.

03:39And seven other things that were worse. And I put the list before him, and he laughed at me. He

03:45laughed at me like I was a fool. He laughed at me. I said, do you think I'm a fool? No, sir,

03:52but these are foolish losers. And he said, you're going to do it. No, I'm not. I said,

03:56you're going to do it a hundred percent, just sitting there, right? You're going to do it.

03:59And now he starts to get a little bit strange because he's saying, why does this guy have

04:03such confidence in this? And I said, you're going to do it. He goes, no way. And I said, way.

04:09And then I told him, I told him, I said, here's what's happening. If you don't do it,

04:17I have before me a document right here. It's right here. And I said, you don't do it.

04:26I'm signing this document. This was a Friday afternoon. I said, on Monday morning at seven

04:31o'clock, we're putting on 25% tariffs on everything that comes in from Mexico,

04:37including all the cars. And then you have one month and it goes to 50%, then it goes to 75,

04:52then it goes to a hundred. And I think I'll stop at a hundred.

04:56And that's many times more than the cost of 28,000 soldiers. And he says,

05:01sir, he couldn't read. I said, are you okay in that beautiful suit?

05:11His suit was getting very damp. I said, are you okay? He goes, uh, oh, and by the way,

05:19I had a great word that I'm going to use, but it's a curse word. And I was told by a great

05:25evangelical preacher just this week, sir, you tell the greatest stories, the greatest everything,

05:33but sir, please don't use foul language. And I said, sometimes you need foul language to

05:39tell a great story. He said, sir, you don't, so I'm just going to use a really terrible word,

05:48but it's over in an instant. But the truth is, I think it doesn't look worse. Look at all the

05:53media back then. I think it does look worse on television than it sounds. So did you notice I

05:59had a blank space right there? I said, I said, here's what you do. You know, tell me, he said,

06:05sir, may I take five minutes? I'd like to make a phone call back to Mexico. I said, absolutely.

06:11Say hello to the president. That's who you're calling, right? I said, please be quick because

06:19I have a very important appointment coming in. So he went out, came back very quickly,

06:26sir. It would be my great honor to supply you with 28,000 souls.

06:34It would be my great honor to create a new policy of staying in Mexico or remaining in Mexico.

06:43And Cheryl would be my great honor to have

06:46tattoos in Mexico as opposed to tattoos in the United States. And another thing,

06:53Cheryl, we would like her much. By the way, the woman from the State Department, she almost had

06:58like a heart attack. She couldn't believe it. And she was a good woman. She was actually happy. A

07:03lot of them would be unhappy because they would have been right about the point. She was actually

07:07she couldn't believe it. It did many, many things like that. I did it with

07:11McCrone. You saw McCrone taking advantage of Biden just the last couple of days.

07:16She's looking at him like, how dumb is this guy? They're landing in a parachute. And he turns

07:22around not to watch the guy landing, but to watch the tree behind them. And the new and very

07:28respected leader of Italy. I didn't know who that was. A woman came up to him and turned him

07:34like he was a cop. He had no idea where the hell he was. He's watching the parachute land and he

07:39turns around to look at trees. And I don't like to imitate anyone because the fake news is always

07:50putting it on. My wife had told the story yesterday. I imitate him. You can never find

07:55the stairways off the stage. We've got them all over the place. They're all here. I have

08:00emergencies right there. You can see the stairs all over. It's almost impossible not to find the

08:06stairs. You can walk in any direction. And I imitated him. I imitated him getting lost.

08:13If you ever noticed, he always goes like this. He makes a speech that lasts about a minute and a

08:17half. People come to listen to him. You know how many people come? Like we have this massive room

08:24that's packed to the corners and outside you got more people.

08:32You can't fill up the eight circles. And I said, by the way, the eight circles were meant for COVID.

08:40They're meant for COVID. You don't have to use them, but they use them as an excuse because

08:43nobody comes. So he's up and he's before a tiny little crowd, 30, 40, 50 people.

08:49And the speech lasts for like a minute. And then he's looking for the exit and he goes like this.

08:56He always does it. He points and he's pointing in the right direction and then he walks in a

09:01different direction. And I said to our great first lady, I called her and we had a big crowd that

09:09evening. You know what? We had 107,000 people in New Jersey two weeks ago. 107,000 people.

09:19Matt Gaetz was there. Matt Gaetz was there. We had 68,000 in Alabama, 73,000 in Texas. We have

09:31the biggest crowds in the history of politics. That tells you they like what we're saying.

09:35I called our first lady. They said, how good was that speech? Was that brilliant? Did you see the

09:43crowd first lady? This is the way you talk to a wife, right? Did you see the crowd first lady?

09:49How good was that? Nobody else could get a crowd. In the history of politics,

09:53nobody ever had a crowd like that first lady. She goes, but your hair looked terrible.

10:03Or she'll say something even worse. Have you gained weight? You didn't look good.

10:08But this last time it was like a fluke. She said the speech was unbelievable. Congratulations.

10:20But what happened? You couldn't find the stairs?

10:26So I imitated him and the fake news said I couldn't find the stairs.

10:31I had no problem first lady. She said, well, they showed you, you couldn't get on the stage.

10:40You were walking into a wall. You know, usually there's a wall behind you. It's good enough.

10:45And I'll walk into it. Now I don't like to do it anymore because they show it to

10:48the less of an invitation to Biden. But thank God we have great secret service.

10:53They run up on the stage and they grab him.
