00:00A two-year-old boy was killed after he was run over in Manila.

00:08CCTV footage of the barangay shows the boy crossing the road.

00:11A black van was just about to arrive.

00:14The boy was rolled over by the van.

00:16The van did not stop, so the people blocked it.

00:19According to the barangay chairman, the driver said that he did not notice the boy

00:23and he also did not feel that he was run over.

00:27The parents of the boy were not there because they were working,

00:30but the mother immediately went to the hospital where the boy was brought to.

00:47To avoid misfortune, here is the tip-talk for the safety of the children on the road from UNICEF.

00:54To the parents, tell your children to cross the road

01:01and there is a possibility that the driver will not be able to see the small child.

01:06Do not let them approach the road without an adult, especially those who are 7 years old or younger.

01:12Also, hold hands when on the road.

01:16Get them used to the stop, look, and listen rules whenever they cross the road.

01:21Also, wear high-heeled clothes, especially when the road is dark,

01:25or when it is not raining, so that they can be seen more easily.

01:29Remind them to also guard the garage of the house

01:33and be alert to the cars that are going out or going in here.
