China completes Western extension of enormous Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

The western extension of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, 31 kilometers long, was completed Wednesday. It marks the cross-sea-and-river passage traffic network in the Guangdong-Kong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has taken shape. The passage is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2024, and will shorten the traffic hour from Zhuhai to Jiangmen by 30 minutes.
