► Film in public domain. Documentary produced by the Lumière Brothers Society and directed by the French photographer and filmmaker Jean Alexandre Louis Promio in 1896.
1) Panoramic footage taken on a gondola showing the facades of buildings along the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.
2) Alexandre Promio's 1st cinematic attempt at panoramic shots. With the approval of the Lumière brothers, this resource began to be widely used by other directors.
