00:00Hi there, my name's Tim Barber. I'm a Yorkshire Blue Badge Tourist Guide and I run a company called Real Yorkshire Tours,
00:09providing driver-guided tours to predominantly Americans and overseas visitors throughout the Yorkshire region.
00:17Now one of my tours that's become really, really popular over the last three or four years has been an All Creatures Great and Small Locations Tour.
00:24The viewing figures for the new remake of All Creatures has gone ballistic in America and we're getting more and more Americans
00:30that want to come and visit the Yorkshire Dales and explore the locations.
00:35What really captures the American's imagination is the beautiful scenery.
00:40The TV production director on All Creatures Great and Small said that they wanted to make the landscape an extra character in the TV show
00:48and it really does that.
00:49So the Americans want to come over and they want to see the field barns, the dry stone walls, the sheep, the picture postcard villages
00:55and they really fall in love with the place.
00:58So much so that sometimes on my tours I've had people that have just burst into tears just saying it's more beautiful than I ever imagined.
01:04They've been so overwhelmed by the landscape.
01:08On my tours I've been lucky enough to bump into the cast a few times while we've been touring.
01:14This really makes the tour special.
01:17Particularly we've met Rachel Shenton, we've met Nicholas Ralph a couple of times
01:22and they've been absolutely great talking to my clients and making them feel really really welcome.
01:27They are absolutely lovely people.
01:30When this happens it really does make it a special tour.
01:35Now with series 5 and 6 both commissioned again I think the series is going to run and run
01:40and it's only going to help with Yorkshire tourism.
01:43Long may it continue.
