Underground tunnel suggested for M4 relief road

The idea of an M4 relief road has been touted for well over a decade, and in the last few years was put to bed by the Welsh Labour government when they declared a climate crisis. The latest idea to tackle congestion on the motorway through Newport is the most expensive yet, at over 10 billion pounds.
