00:40said she is proud of the meeting's achievements.
00:43Alliance leaders met in Bari, southern Italy and agreed on 11 resolutions, most notably
00:49providing Ukraine financial support in its fights against Russia and developing a counter-smuggling
00:54coalition to stem irregular migration.
00:58Maloney's far-right Brothers of Italy party stormed the recent European parliamentary
01:02elections and she used her time at the G7 lectern to speak about the hemicycle.
01:08In the G7, a final press conference, Giorgia Maloney hailed the summit as a success and
01:12after speaking about the final declaration's achievements, she made a comment on the EU
01:17vote.
01:18Speaking about the possibility of the re-election of Manderlein as president of the EU commission,
01:23she said that the proposal for the presidency of the commission belongs to the EPP party
01:28having won the most seats and that a meeting to discuss the issue will be held in Rome
01:34on Monday.
