00:00But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads is still like, what's the name of that one, that muffler?
00:05The muffler? I'm like, it's the Niffler, Mads!
00:07Come on, do your research, buddy!
00:18Otherwise, it's just, it's just a load of wizards.
00:21What?
00:27What is the big one in our film, Manticore?
00:29I would say the Manticores from this.
00:34A Manticore, don't.
00:37That big one.
00:38Yeah, definitely.
00:39Do not adopt that one.
00:40Yeah, don't, don't.
00:41Somebody can adopt it, but not my neighbor.
00:43Yeah.
00:44You need a tunnel. Who's got a tunnel?
00:46And that's going to bother the whole neighborhood as well.
00:48I couldn't imagine 2, 3 a.m. with that thing.
00:51The Manticores who are in this movie-
00:52They're not just for Christmas.
00:53They're not just for Christmas.
00:54And kind of what you were saying, you know,
00:56there are some sweet ones and there are some vicious ones.
00:58And the Manticore somehow, you know, disguises itself,
01:01masquerades as being of the sweet and cuddly and chirpy type.
01:05Swivel, but delicately.
01:07But actually they are vicious and terrifying.
01:10And you don't want to run into a mummy Manticore in a dark alley.
01:17I think the Niffler, it just steals a bunch of stuff.
01:21That's okay.
01:22And that's kind of concerning.
01:23It's like, I can't just as a black person walk around with a Niffler
01:27because they're just going to go around stealing stuff.
01:32They went that way, officer.
01:34That is true.
01:34But I mean, there are also creatures that just kills a lot.
01:38Right. Yeah, yeah.
01:39And you think that's better?
01:40Yeah, I know, right?
01:41I would rather have just like a murderous creature rather than a Niffler.
01:45Bruh.
01:45I don't know. I just feel like it would just get me into a lot of drama.
01:49But I mean, look at the bright side.
01:50If he steals enough, you can always get money to bail out.
01:53That's right. Definitely.
01:54So then I would get the Niffler to go get them.
01:57Get past that point and you're good.
01:59Really?
02:00I would, I mean, I've told you before, I would really like to have a Niffler.
02:03I think it just comes in handy.
02:05But can I just tell you that Mads, Mads still like,
02:08what's the name of that one, that muffler?
02:10The muffler.
02:10I'm like, it's the Niffler, Mads.
02:13Come on, do your research, buddy.
02:14Did he say that?
02:15He got it today.
02:16But I actually prefer the name, the muffler.
02:20It's something you put on your car, isn't it?
02:21Teddy the muffler.
02:22Exactly.
02:23Oh, bloody hell.
02:24I have a theory that the Niffler is the most dangerous
02:27because who knows where that marsupial pouch goes.
02:30It could be going to like a whole other dark dimension.
02:33True.
02:33And also you cannot control, there's no disciplining a Niffler.
02:37No disciplining.
02:37No.
02:38Can you imagine just like a pack of Nifflers?
02:41Just like one on your watch and another on your bracelet
02:44and another on an ankle bracelet.
02:46Then you'd be, you'd be crazy.
02:51Nifflers rule the world.
02:52So, what's your favourite Christmas present?
02:57Boat truckle.
02:58For me, I've been a big fan of Pickett's from the get-go.
03:03You've been a loyal Pickett.
03:04I have, haven't I?
03:04You noticed that.
03:05Since day one.
03:06I really like it.
03:06And he's been asked which his favourite is several times
03:08and some actors will shift their allegiance, not Jude.
03:12He's a Pickett fan through and through.
03:14I adore Pickett, but Pickett is a bit.
03:16Exactly.
03:17I want Pickett.
03:18I would rather chop off my hand than get rid of you
03:19after everything that you've done for me.
03:21Now, come on.
03:21Pickett needs a lot.
03:23He's wonderful, but he's really neurotic.
03:26So, you really need to, you can't just like go,
03:28okay, you know, like I'm going to take you for a walk.
03:31And you can't just eat a salad around Pickett, you know?
03:33Looks at you like side, out of the side of his eyes.
03:37Just like, how dare you?
03:38That's my cousin.
03:40He's got a good, he's got a good stink eye.
03:42Pickett's a bit needy.
03:44That's the only thing I'd say.
03:45I mean, from like.
03:46Yeah, you have the hands-on experience.
03:48Yeah, I do and I adore Pickett.
03:50And definitely Pickett of all of the Bowtruckles
03:53has a very specific place in Newt's heart.
03:55But occasionally, I actually love the Pickett-Niffler,
03:58not muffler combo.
04:00I think they make, they're both fighting for Newt's love
04:03and attention.
04:03They're the ones that he carries with him a lot.
04:06But in this movie, they kind of team up
04:07and you see a bit of affection between the two of them.
04:16Oh, you need a lock.
04:18Somebody who can pick a lock and you need a thief.
04:20You do, you do.
04:22The two of them together are ideal.
04:24The thief and the criminal, basically.
04:26It's another whole, that's an HBO Max series right there.
04:28The Niffler and Pickett.
04:31The chilling?
04:32Oh yeah, but so you're like constantly being judged
04:36and measured, right?
04:37So if it's not bowing all the time,
04:38you know you've done something wrong.
04:40Okay, sorry about that.
04:42Yeah, am I not worthy?
04:43Am I like feeding you and I'm not worthy?
04:45It's a lot of pressure.
04:46Absolutely.
04:47Am I the one paying the rent around here
04:49and I'm not worthy?
04:50It's like a cat almost.
04:51Yeah.
04:51Oh yeah, totally.
04:52It's like cat vibe.
04:55Yeah, Mooncalf is, they're lovely and they-
04:57They're just happy to see you.
04:58You got some floaty pellets.
05:00So joyful and chill.
05:03I feel like they're like a good starter pet.
05:06I'm an owl person.
05:07I do just like a classic, you know, magical owl.
05:10I've always wanted like a snowy white owl
05:11or maybe just like, I mean, they just,
05:13they deliver the post.
05:14They all have different personalities.
05:16There's just lots to like.
05:18I love that the wyvern in this, you know,
05:20which is the creature that comes out at the beginning
05:22and that picks Newt up from the case
05:26and kind of blows herself up
05:28into this gigantic sort of balloon.
05:30I kind of love that creature too.
05:32And again, the fact that the creatures are working,
05:36working not only with Newt,
05:38but actually fall, like actually save Newt in this
05:40is kind of, I found that very emotional
05:43at the beginning of the movie.
05:44You never met a monster you couldn't love.
05:46I keep coming back to the Niffler.
05:48I just like it.
05:48Yeah, it's just cute.
05:50It is cute.
05:50If you find a way to train it, you know,
05:53that it will hand over.
05:56What do we make today?
06:04Someone responsible, someone patient.
06:07Yeah.
06:08I often, I mean, I do find many similarities
06:11between these creatures
06:12and I have two young children.
06:13My little boy is just at the moment,
06:15just like desperately trying to like sort of hit things
06:17and sort of, and you have to be very patient with him
06:20whilst also encouraging him to let out his,
06:22but the different creatures have different,
06:24you know, different wants and needs
06:26and you have to slightly shape-shift your parenting
06:28depending on which creature you're looking after.
06:31Niffler is easy, right?
06:32That's a low-hanging fruit, right?
06:34That would be any politician in the world.
06:36Oh, nice.
06:37Roast it.
06:38Love that.
06:39I think an owl, definitely.
06:44Not too small of a child.
06:45I feel like there's like a,
06:47that seems like they would be irresponsible with it.
06:50But they also come across as quite independent.
06:52So even if a child can't take care of them,
06:55it might teach the child something.
06:57That's right. That's true.
06:58Yeah, but that's like, I feel like that's like
07:00just being a good dad.
07:01Like you seem like you've got good dad energy.
07:04I think you should really like be qualified
07:06to adopt a Fantastic Beasts.
07:09Yeah.
07:10It takes a lot of, a lot of care
07:14and you have to have the right sort of skills
07:17and qualifications to look after them.
07:19It's a big responsibility.
07:21Yeah.
07:22Very dangerous.
07:22We got to do the fourth movie.
07:24It's got to be Fantastic Beasts and how to care for them.
07:27A care guide.
07:28Yes.
07:28Oh, I like that.
07:35Robbie.
07:36Robbie the Mooncalf.
07:37Robbie would be better for a bowtruckle though,
07:40because he can be Robert Plant, you know?
07:41Whoa.
07:43A bowtruckle who's got a little flower.
07:45Oh, sweet.
07:46Or her, so I'd call it bud.
07:48Bud.
07:49I love what you did there.
07:51Or could I even have a bud coming out?
07:52Have a little flower growing out of his head or something.
07:55Yeah.
07:55Do they flower or do they just leaf?
07:57I don't know.
08:00Manny the Mooncalf.
08:01Manny the Mooncalf.
08:02Murray.
08:03Murray.
08:04Murray the Mooncalf.
08:06I will name it Messi.
08:08Like any football player, Messi.
08:10Lionel Messi.
08:11My dog is called Messi and everything has to be called Messi.
08:15Cool, I love it.
08:15The entire time he keeps playing.
08:17Yeah, cool.
08:18I would probably do just like Aaliyah, like the pop singer,
08:21because I was obsessed with her as a kid.
08:23And that's just, it's like, come here, Aaliyah.
08:25Like that, like just put my finger up.
08:28Like there's just something so nice about it.
08:30It's got a great sound to it.
08:32Yeah.
08:33Like that just seems really nice to me.
08:35It's working on me right now.
08:36I don't know what I would call my...
08:41Oh, I'll tell you what I did actually.
08:43In the first movie, there was a moment when I had to improvise
08:46summoning loads of bowtruckles on the tree.
08:49Yeah.
08:52David, the director, was like, can you just list a name?
08:55And I had to keep repeating this.
08:57So I listed, I had at the time had four godchildren.
09:01And so I listed all my, which I thought we had to get their names in.
09:05That's great.
09:06So that was good.
09:07I'd probably keep doing that.
09:10Because you get bonus Godparent points.
09:11Correct.
09:12Three points to Hufflepuff.
