This Robotics Startup Cofounded by CEO of Bankrupt Synapse, Is Making 'Fabricated' Claims of GM Investment and Partnership

A humanoid robotics startup called Foundation Robotics Labs, cofounded by the CEO of bankrupt fintech firm Synapse, Sankaet Pathak has been seeking funds from Silicon Valley investors. The company claimed close ties with General Motors, including an imminent investment, access to GM's factories for data collection, and a potential $300 million purchase order. However, GM has denied these claims, stating that they have never invested in Foundation Robotics, have no plans to do so, and have no agreements with the company, saying that "Any claims to the contrary are fabricated.”
