00:00As much as I would love to say England is my pick to win the Euros, I'm going to have to go for

00:05France. I just think you look at their squad, the level of depth they've got in it, the attacking

00:10talent they've got, the experience they've got of obviously winning these major finals. I think that

00:15is better than anyone else in the whole competition. Another big thing I think as well with

00:19them is when you look at the manager Didier Deschamps, he's got that track record of getting

00:23teams over the line. I think although style of play might not always be the best, I just think

00:28this France side will find a way to win and then Kylian Mbappé, they've got the best player in the

00:33world. Two years ago at the World Cup he was absolutely brilliant, he somehow got even better

00:37than them and it kind of just feels like the stage is set for him and France to go and win another

00:42major trophy. I really want to say England for this one but I think I'm going to have to go for

00:46France. They've got the best player in Kylian Mbappé, they've got the deepest squad, they've

00:52got a manager who knows how to win and has won a World Cup in Didier Deschamps and I think crucially

00:57they've got a kind of balance in their side that England just don't have. England look a bit top

01:02heavy to me whereas France look strong pretty much all over the pitch. So it's a boring answer but

01:08reluctantly I'm going to say France to win it. All the talk leading into this tournament quite

01:13understandably has been about England and how this is England's time to shine. Their best chance of

01:18winning a tournament since 1966 and maybe they go in as the favourites but for me I can't look past

01:24France really. They won the 2018 World Cup, reached the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar losing

01:30only in the final to Argentina on penalties and they won the UEFA Nations League in the middle

01:35of those two. So I think they go in as the form team and I think they also have the best squad

01:41depth of the tournament. Certainly no one's attack is better than England's but if you look at the

01:45whole squad I think it's France who are the team to beat and I think they'll win the tournament.
