Royal Photographer Gives Insight on Prince William and Kates’s ‘Competitive’ and ‘Sporty’ Relationship

00:00What can you tell about Kate and William's relationship by watching them as a photographer?

00:04Because like you said they really had like a very playful banter you know from watching

00:08from seeing photographs it looks like there's a bit of a competitiveness between the two of

00:12them as well but you have been following them for so long what do you see through the lens?

00:18Yeah they're definitely very competitive they're both they're both very sporty so I think whenever

00:22they do get to compete they've competed many times from over the years be it sort of boat races or

00:29even though you know even sprint races or whatever and they're always very competitive

00:33it's always it's always fun when you see that you can see humor come out and their sort of

00:37competitive side come out but what I like seeing is just just the sort of little moments you know

00:45you can be at an engagement which on the face of it from a photographer's point of view is

00:50is not the most exciting you know they might just be shaking people's hands they might be

00:54you know they'd be deep in in conversation with people and you know talking about like

00:59whatever it might be their charity work or whatever which is obviously very important

01:03but it might not be working amazingly for for pictures but then you kind of know at some stage

01:10that they're they're always sort of looking out for each other that at some stage they're going

01:13to give each other like a little look a little smile they might put their you know their hand

01:18on each other's back and sort of rub each other's back or something like that they can be you know

01:23there's always little moments where they're looking out for each other and you can really

01:27see the love and the sort of the connection between them which is which is really good

01:32you can see how what a close couple and how they've got each other's back so it's just as

01:37a photographer you learn to anticipate those those little moments and I think they often

01:43produce the best pictures of William and William and Kate.
