Miracle Doctor Episode 20

Ali is the son of a poor family who grew up in a provincial city. Due to his autism and savant syndrome, he has been constantly excluded and marginalized. Ali has difficulty communicating, and has two friends in his life: His brother and his rabbit. Ali loses both of them and now has only one wish: Saving people. After his brother's death, Ali is disowned by his father and grows up in an orphanage. Dr Adil discovers that Ali has tremendous medical skills due to savant syndrome and takes care of him. After attending medical school and graduating at the top of his class, Ali starts working as an assistant surgeon at the hospital where Dr Adil is the head physician. Although some people in the hospital administration say that Ali is not suitable for the job due to his condition, Dr Adil stands behind Ali and gets him hired. Ali will change everyone around him during his time at the hospital

00:00An ne bişi oldu?
00:07Yok canım, bir şey olmadı oğlum.
00:12İyiyim ben.
00:24Merhaba!
00:24Merhaba doktor abi!
00:26Nasılsınız? İlaçlarınızı getirdiler mi?
00:28They brought it, thank you.
00:31They brought it, I drank it.
00:33Well done.
00:34Then I brought you something, do you want to see it?
00:38I do.
00:40Surprise!
00:51Here, I brought it for you.
00:53Thank you.
00:57You shouldn't have bothered.
00:59Why not?
01:04It's so beautiful, mom!
01:08Look, her mouth and nose always change places. I had one when I was a kid.
01:14Let's kiss, doctor. Say thank you, come on.
01:17No, thank you.
01:24God bless you.
01:27Thank you.
01:31You must have a child, too.
01:34No, I don't have a child. Can I talk to you for a minute?
01:38Of course.
01:44I know it's going to sound weird, but can you not say that you found this toy in the canteen and it fell from the sky, but I gave it to you?
01:51Whatever you say, doctor.
01:53Thank you.
01:54God bless you.
02:05Adem!
02:07Adem, Adem!
02:11Adem, can you hear me?
02:13Adem!
02:14Nurse!
02:15Adem!
02:17Hurry up and call the pharmacist.
02:19Okay, just a minute.
02:20Calm down.
02:23Adem, can you hear me? Adem!
02:34He'll wake up soon.
02:39He's under control for now, but he'll get worse.
02:43Fever is 39.2.
02:56It's all because of you.
03:00All of this is because of you.
03:05How can a little kid like this handle all this chaos? Of course it's natural. He couldn't handle it.
03:11Look, I don't ever want to see that doctor called Ali around my child again.
03:17Ms. Anca, all doctors agree.
03:21This child needs surgery.
03:22Just change the antibiotic.
03:26It's over.
03:40It's over.
04:10It's over.
04:41Is there a head physician in this hospital?
04:44Can we help?
04:45I asked you, ma'am. Are you a head physician?
04:48Okay, the name of our head physician is Adil Erinc. His office is on the third floor. Please, come in.
04:57God.
04:59God.
05:01I can't believe this. I'll show you.
05:03Excuse me, ma'am. Is there a problem?
05:06Are you an administrator?
05:07No, ma'am. Is there a problem?
05:09Are you an administrator, sir?
05:10Better. I'm a journalist.
05:15You're a journalist.
05:17Good.
05:20Okay, I have something to tell you.
05:23It's about a doctor named Ali who works in this hospital.
05:38Ali, the head physician.
05:51Can I help?
05:54We already have a doctor.
05:57I know, Mr. Ferman.
06:00He'll be very angry when he hears I'm involved with his patient.
06:03But what can I do?
06:04I started this job to help children.
06:12But I can't.
06:15His mother won't let me.
06:25God bless you, Serdar.
06:28I'd be happy.
06:29I'd be happy.
06:33It's written here.
06:35Thank you.
06:59Thank you.
07:05Thank you.
07:10Thank you.
07:29Thank you.
07:41What are you doing?
07:44Sand candy.
07:47There's no other candy than death.
07:50My mother used to make me read rice when I was a kid.
07:54So that I'd be good.
08:00You're a good mother.
08:06I love my mother very much.
08:12Of course you do.
08:14I love you.
08:16I love you.
08:17Of course I love you.
08:19There are mothers in this hospital who don't think about their children.
08:36That's not true.
08:48I love you.
08:54Mom?
09:17Mom?
09:27I'll bring it back.
09:33Your toy is gone.
09:35I'll bring it back.
09:48He's starting endocarditis. His arrhythmia is getting worse.
09:52It may be a sign of left ventricle dysfunction.
09:56We should have a look at his ectoplasma.
09:58Does the drugs work?
10:00We can try a channel blocker to increase the gradient.
10:04I've found it, sir.
10:05I've found it.
10:07What have you found?
10:08I've found an idea for Madem.
10:09We can change the place of the nitrile cap.
10:19Like this.
10:24Ali, are you kidding me?
10:27I've been working here for hours.
10:29How many times do I have to tell you?
10:30Don't meddle in someone else's business.
10:32How am I going to tell you this?
10:34I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself when I came up with the idea.
10:37But the anormal insertion of the nitrile cap is the biggest problem.
10:40If we solve it...
10:41The place of the nitrile cap won't change.
10:43There is no such procedure.
10:45But if you find a way out with septal myectomy,
10:47you can put the cap in a more normal position.
10:51There is no place to connect the anterior leaf.
10:53It can be tried, but it can be tried.
10:54Ali, if the child had two hours left, it could be tried.
10:59But the child has two years.
11:01I can't take this from him.
11:02I can't send the child to his grave from here.
11:05Do you understand?
11:08Look, turn around. Please.
11:10Look, turn around. Please.
11:26A journalist was looking for you at the desk.
11:29I told him that you could be here.
11:31And a journalist came to our rescue.
11:37Mr. Necmi Duvar.
11:38Mr. İpek Tarzan.
11:39We are friends of the patient number 100.
11:42You are expected in the patient record department.
11:44Can you come here for a minute?
11:46Open your hand. What's going on?
11:47Come.
11:51What's going on?
11:54What's going on?
11:55What kind of a man are you?
11:56I'm not a man.
11:57I'm not a man.
11:58I'm not a man.
11:59I'm not a man.
12:00What's going on?
12:01What kind of a man are you?
12:03What?
12:04What kind of an ox are you?
12:05What kind of a man are you?
12:07Aceri, what's going on?
12:08Say thank you.
12:10Say thank you.
12:11Are you giving me charity?
12:13You're giving it to everyone.
12:14You could have given me a few cents.
12:18Okay, don't get mad. She didn't know what to say.
12:20How could I not know?
12:22I was speechless.
12:24What do you mean?
12:26I still can't believe it.
12:28I'm running after you.
12:30I'm running to see if I can help you.
12:33I'm your friend, Demir.
12:38Okay, you're right. I was thoughtless.
12:41I was really sleepless.
12:43I was really sleepless. I don't know what I said.
12:45I'm sorry, Aceri.
12:49Why?
12:53We have fun together, we laugh.
12:56We go out.
12:57You told me so many times that we could do something together.
13:04Why didn't I feel anything when I kissed you?
13:09You knew.
13:11Demir, you knew.
13:16You knew I felt something for you, yet you were close to me.
13:21And I...
13:22I thought...
13:25What?
13:27I can lift you up. Tell me why.
13:32I want to hear it. Tell me.
13:39Nazlı.
13:43You're not the type I'm used to, but...
13:46...since the first day I saw you, since the first moment I saw you...
13:49...you were the first Nazlı I saw.
13:54I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm hungry.
13:57Demir.
14:01Please leave.
14:04Leave.
14:05I'm hungry.
14:06Leave.
14:08Demir, leave.
14:09I want to be alone, please.
14:14It was so nice, wasn't it?
14:17Listen, I went on a break to have a cup of coffee with you.
14:21We're not going out. You don't get it, do you?
14:25No, I don't get it.
14:27We'll see each other like five or ten times until the end of the month.
14:32Then we'll go out.
14:34If it goes on like that for a week or two...
14:36So?
14:38Then you'll see that we've met before.
14:41Then, one engagement, one wedding, one child in a year.
14:45That's it. How's that?
14:47Güneş, let's put aside your crazy side for now.
14:50I'm going to tell you something.
14:51Tell me.
14:52I'm not here for a year.
14:55What do you mean?
14:56I'm not here.
15:00But you're not going to tell anyone.
15:02Okay.
15:03Promise me.
15:04Promise.
15:07I'm not going to tell anyone.
15:09I'm studying law. I'm a second year teacher.
15:11I'm going to be a lawyer like Ms. Beliz. I have a year left.
15:14What are you saying?
15:15Yes.
15:17It's not a year, Rüya. You can't stay for a year.
15:20What are you saying?
15:21Wait a minute.
15:23Our hospital has a law department like a door.
15:25You can go there.
15:26We'll get married there, right?
15:28Yes, Güneş.
15:29It's obvious that we're coming to the end of our first date.
15:32Thank you.
15:33Smile.
15:34Don't say anything.
15:40Isn't that Tamer?
15:41The kid is running away. There's no one with him.
15:44Run. Tell everyone.
15:45Okay.
15:46The car is going to crash. Tamer!
15:50Brother, can you give me 50,000 liras?
15:52I mean, 5,000 liras.
16:10Wait, wait, wait.
16:13What's going on?
16:14Hey, what are you doing?
16:16Get out!
16:17What are you doing? Get out!
16:19Get out!
16:21Hey!
16:22Tamer!
16:23Get out!
16:24One second, one second. Can you let me go, please?
16:26What are you doing?
16:28One second, sir. Please let me go.
16:29It's not a big deal.
16:30Tamer.
16:31Tamer, what are you doing?
16:32Let me go.
16:33Tamer, your fever is rising. Look.
16:37What are you doing?
16:38Your fever is rising, look.
16:40Please open the door, come on.
16:42I won't, I won't.
16:44Tamer, you need to take your medicine.
16:46Please open the door.
16:48I won't open the door.
16:50You need to take your medicine.
16:52Please open the door.
16:54Güneş.
16:56Tamer.
16:58Tamer.
17:00What are you doing, son? Open the door.
17:02Son.
17:04What are you doing, Tamer? Open the door.
17:06Ma'am, please calm down.
17:08We thought he was on the road.
17:10But he's in the car. We'll fix it. Don't worry.
17:12Tamer.
17:14Look at his throat. He may have a fever.
17:16He may have an infection.
17:18Tamer.
17:20Son, open the door.
17:22Come on, open the door.
17:24Tamer, are you afraid of anything else?
17:26Open the door.
17:28Let's talk together.
17:30What do you say?
17:32I won't.
17:34I won't do it again.
17:36It's not like that.
17:38It's not like that.
17:40It's a small operation. You'll be able to sing again.
17:42I heard you.
17:44I heard you.
17:46Sir, I'm breaking the glass. The boy will faint.
17:48Don't be ridiculous.
17:50Calm down, sir.
17:52He needs oxygen.
17:54Please calm down.
17:56Calm down.
17:58Please calm down.
18:00We'll talk to him. Don't worry.
18:02The boy won't get hurt.
18:04No, please.
18:06No, please.
18:08Stop.
18:16Ali, go on.
18:18Go on.
18:22There's no music in his headphones.
18:26You're doing it so that people don't hear.
18:28You're doing it so that people don't hear.
18:32Like a thug.
18:38I'm also closing my ears.
18:42To not hear people.
18:44You're afraid.
18:48I'm afraid, too.
18:52Do you know why?
18:54To die alone.
19:02My brother and my rabbit went to heaven.
19:06What if I can't go?
19:12Sometimes I break people without asking.
19:24I'm upset because I said what came to my mind.
19:28Maybe that's why I can't go to heaven.
19:34People don't want me here either.
19:38There are people who treat me badly.
19:44But I...
19:46I'm standing next to them.
19:48I'm not running away from them.
19:50Sometimes I run away.
19:52But then I come back.
19:56What if they make fun of me?
19:58Even if they don't want me,
20:00I want to stay with them.
20:08You...
20:10You're luckier than me, Tamer.
20:14You're luckier than me.
20:16You're luckier than me, Tamer.
20:22You saw...
20:24You saw how happy the kids were when they were with you in the hospital.
20:30If something happens to you,
20:32everyone will be very sad, Tamer.
20:36Your mother misses you very much.
20:42Come on, open that door, please.
20:46Come on.
20:54I know very well what you feel.
20:56I understand you very well.
21:00Because sometimes I'm like you, too.
21:02Sometimes I run away.
21:04But then I come back.
21:08You come back, too, Tamer.
21:10Come back.
21:16Because loneliness is a very bad thing.
21:20The worst thing.
21:40I love you.
21:42I love you.
21:44I love you.
21:46I love you.
21:48I love you.
21:50I love you.
21:52I love you.
21:54I love you.
21:56I love you.
21:58I love you.
22:00I love you.
22:02I love you.
22:04I love you.
22:06I love you.
22:08I love you.
22:10I love you.
22:16Come on.
22:38I'm sorry.
22:44Thank you.
22:45Thank you.
23:05Ms. Ayça, we have to go now.
23:08We have to go to the hospital as soon as possible.
23:10Thank you.
23:15Thank you.
23:45Thank you.
23:55Adem.
23:58Adem.
24:02Come on, son. Wake up.
24:04Come on, we're leaving.
24:06Come on, son.
24:08Come on, mom.
24:10Ms. Saadet, wait.
24:15I'm going to ask you something. Come with me.
24:25Give me up.
24:27What do you mean?
24:29The child's operation is very risky.
24:34We're going to stop the heart and connect it to a machine.
24:37And when we take it out, there's very little chance of a relapse.
24:40Look, I'll talk. You make the decision, okay?
24:42The child's heart has a 25 millimeter gap, and it needs to be 8 millimeters.
24:46I don't know how much I need to lower this.
24:49Because there's no such procedure.
24:51There's no example.
24:56The worst part is...
24:59...heart valve deformation.
25:01An unobedient assistant offers to replace the valve.
25:04But there's no place to connect the artery, the valve.
25:08The bottom line is...
25:10...we're going to do an open-heart surgery on a six-year-old.
25:15The veins are thin.
25:18I'm trying to tell you how little parameters we're going to work with right now.
25:22If we're going to make even the slightest mistake...
25:26The baby's heart won't explode.
25:29Huh?
25:31The baby's heart won't explode.
25:33The baby's heart won't explode.
25:35Huh?
25:42I've made my decision.
25:46Either give me up...
25:49...or I'm going to do this surgery.
26:01Do it, doctor.
26:05I trust you first.
26:10Save my baby.
26:15Stay with Adem.
26:17We'll talk, okay?
26:19God bless you.
26:26Dr. Efe Demir.
26:28Dr. Efe Demir.
26:30Waiting for surgery.
26:35Where the hell is the cup?
26:37Dr. Nergis Şadoğlu.
26:39Dr. Nergis Şadoğlu.
26:41Waiting for surgery.
26:45That's enough. Stop.
26:47Your hands and feet are shaking. What are you doing? Sit down.
26:50There's no other way. I'm going to fall asleep now.
26:54It's all over the place today.
26:57Demir.
26:59Did you get a needle or something in your hand since this morning?
27:02Did they let you do a sharp, piercing surgery on someone?
27:06They didn't.
27:08Because you're on probation.
27:10Look, this is a very old tradition in this hospital.
27:13Once upon a time, a teacher was very angry with another teacher.
27:17He didn't send him home.
27:19He didn't even let him do anything.
27:21Later, other nurses did the same thing to their assistants.
27:26Is there such a tradition?
27:28How long have you been on probation?
27:29I left Sami. I guess it's been 40-50.
27:31Tear your teeth to the end of the day.
27:34The penalty record will be yours.
27:36Even know this.
27:38This record is still one of your teachers.
27:41Come on.
27:43Is it Mr. Ferman?
27:45I never say.
27:47So I guess it's not Mr. Tanju.
27:49Look, show them how much you want this job.
27:53He can't stand it anyway. He'll come and talk to you.
27:55Demir.
27:57You're with me.
27:59Mr. Ferman.
28:01Not yet.
28:10Now you're going to jail, Nazlı.
28:12Then the surgery.
28:14But don't worry, it'll be fine.
28:16Maybe without any damage.
28:18There won't be a surgery.
28:20What?
28:22There won't be a surgery.
28:23What?
28:25I said there won't be a surgery.
28:27My decision hasn't changed.
28:29I'll take my son to a doctor in Berlin.
28:31Maybe they'll take care of it without a surgery.
28:37You don't love your son.
28:41Yes, it hurts.
28:44If this happens, he won't have any friends.
28:46He'll always be alone.
28:48Am I going to learn from someone like you how to raise my son?
28:51You don't deserve this hospital.
28:53Anyway, okay.
28:55Okay, soon everyone will learn everything.
28:57What do you mean?
28:59What do you mean?
29:01You'll understand soon, doctor.
29:04He doesn't want the surgery.
29:06How?
29:09You just saw what happened.
29:11That's enough.
29:13Okay, that's enough.
29:15Look, finish this treatment and let us go.
29:17Okay? He has cancer.
29:18Don't you understand? Let us go.
29:20What is this?
29:22We won't let you go.
29:24He has the risk of infection. I can't do it.
29:26I'm sorry, but you won't be able to attend this concert, Ms. Ayça.
29:29I'm sorry.
29:31Come on, Alev.
29:38We won't let you go.
29:41Who are you to let us go?
29:44Oh my God, where are we?
29:49Ms. Nazlı, can you take a look?
