00:05very cool. Yes, it is. It's kind of like Zach Galifianak is between two ferns, so it's like
00:12between two lamps. I can't really say any more because Zach's lawyers have instructed me not to
00:19step on his, you know, intellectual property. So that's all, that's all I can, that's all I
00:26can say, Jodie, at this time. I'm leaving. I think that sounds like a great idea though,
00:31between two lamps. It's a completely original idea and no one, I was not inspired by anything
00:37except this. My little, my little noggin. I truly believe that. Now listen, you are a part of this
00:46incredible new game. Tell me all about it because I don't know too much about it. So tell me all
00:52about it because I don't really play games in my old age. I'm too busy, Ken. I really should make
00:56more time for it. Well, I mean, Squadbusters is, I would have to say this is the biggest
01:05mobile game launch like in history because I believe more than 30 million people have downloaded
01:13the game since launch late last week. So it's, it basically is, the premise is very simple. It
01:21takes, you know, it takes friendship, it takes, you know, a squad to find happiness. In this case,
01:29it's gems and picking up gems along the way and bringing these characters to life as actors.
01:36In the trailer, I think that was viewed about over 50 million times last week, was, I've never
01:42been a part of anything like it. And you had the biggest star of all, Chris Hemsworth, Christina
01:48Ricci, Ali Cravalho of Moana, and Will Arnett, my good buddy. We were all part of this, including
01:56Dolph Lundgren, who was also a part of it too, an icon as well. So, and directed by Jody Hill,
02:02a good friend of mine who I've worked with several times. He's a great director. You know,
02:09the people over at Supercell really created this kind of very epic trailer. You know, to me, it's
02:17not even a campaign. It was like a trailer and we shot it over three days and it was, you know,
02:23it was a real production, you know, and with real effort to the, shout out to the crew for doing it.
02:29So, it was pretty epic and it was, I was smiling ear to ear. It was just an honor to be a part of it,
02:34to be honest. Well, I don't know if you can see like my video, if you've got my video on, but
02:40well done for you for not getting distracted by me. I'm going to be totally honest with you, Ken.
02:44Today in the studio, all I've been doing is voiceovers. So, I completely forgot to bring
02:48my contact lenses in and so I've used mascara that I think is now like not working well with
02:54this light and it looks as if I'm literally bawling my eyes out, but my eyes are just
02:58walking and I'm in control of it. I'm, I, you know, I really appreciate the fact that you've
03:03been so emotional about this and I, how you are in front of the camera is how I feel emotionally.
03:10So, I think we're kindred spirits on this campaign. It's a very emotional campaign, Jodi,
03:17and I think that, you know, you can hide it with mascara reasons, but I know it's getting
03:25emotional over Squad Busters and, and quite frankly, who isn't? And I think, I think it's
03:30great. I think it's great, Jodi, and I think that we're sending a great global message. We're
03:35bringing tears, love, and joy throughout the world in having a squad. This is it, Ken. It's,
03:44it's just made me, you know, I'm overcome with emotion and I'm just so glad that I can talk to
03:49you about this because I feel like you're so understanding. Yeah, I'll even take my glasses
03:53off for you, Jodi. I'll even say emotionally, squad up, you know what I mean? So, I get it and
04:02I get you and we are, we're in this together. You and I,
04:05we're a squad. Please don't get so emotional, but I will allow it. I get it.
04:10Okay, so I'm so glad to have your support at this emotional, emotional time.
04:15You have no idea. I get this all the time when I'm talking about Squad Busters. I get it.
04:19And obviously, you were talking about the trailer and how star-studded it is. I mean,
04:23how much fun was filming that? It was really, it, it is kind of beyond words because it was
04:32very surreal for all of us to be together, meaning, you know, Chris Hemsworth and, and Will
04:41and Christina and Ollie, all five of us together. It oddly was a perfect match. It was a perfect
04:48squad. I think the casting of it was perfect. And because people haven't seen the five of us
04:55together in that context and like, we genuinely had a good time. It was, you know, I just remember
05:03just Will just keeping us in stitches. Will is, is one of the, is one of the funniest people alive
05:08and, and, and we're buddies and we've worked together several times. And, and I think Chris
05:15Hemsworth is probably, probably one of the most down-to-earth superstars I've ever, you know,
05:22worked with and come across. And everything you hear about him is true. He's just salt of the
05:28earth and, and just incredible. And Christina is also, she was just so dry in her sense of humor.
05:37She made me laugh a lot on camera. And then Ollie, I was telling her like, my kids are the biggest,
05:44you know, probably the most starstruck of all of them, you know, because of Moana. So it was,
05:50I just, you know, it was one of those times where as an actor, you just have the biggest
05:54smile on your face, you know, working the whole time. And so there was I in a huge chicken outfit,
06:01just with the biggest smile on my face. It was, it was great to be honest. It was one of my favorite
06:07shoots. Really? How was the chicken outfit? How was stepping into that role? It wasn't hard at all.
06:13It was well ventilated. It looked hot and muggy, but there was a lot of air underneath. It wasn't
06:20that bad at all. And, and I'm so happy again, you continue to be emotional about how lovely the
06:27outfit was. And I get it. I get it. This is a, this is our moment, Jodi, to talk emotionally
06:34about Squadbusters. This is our moment. It was meant to be. I feel honestly, I don't think I've
06:39ever connected and bonded so much with a celebrity and especially virtually ever in my life. Ken,
06:45I feel like we are, like you say, kindred spirits. I feel like you've really been there for me
06:48throughout this. I have been with, I have been there for you the whole minute together. And that
06:54says a lot. And I feel like there is a, a kinship, a, a spirit of fellowship that we've had across
07:02the pond. And, you know, shouldn't all interviews be like this, Jodi? You know what I mean? Well,
07:08they should, they should Ken, but sometimes they're not, but also maybe they shouldn't,
07:12because I shouldn't be having like some weird eye problems during interviews either.
07:17Well, and, and I know that I'm, I know that I'm talking about another product here in the US
07:25that I'm a spokesman for, but you know, if dry eye is a problem for you, you should talk to your
07:29doctor, see if Zydro is right for you. So that's another product, you know, so here you go. Two
07:35hits in one. Am I right guys? It's never, it's never been a problem before, but maybe it was
07:39meant to happen on this call so that you could then sell me that product that's going to change
07:43my life. I, I think, I think squatting up is, um, is going to change your life. And then I think,
07:51you know, just again, not up to me, but talk to your doctor, talk to your doctor,
07:56see if Zydro is right for you. Yep. Do you know what I think it is as well? I think it's,
08:00I'm blinded by the beauty of you. Okay. And I think that's what it is.
08:06You got to think that I can't take credit for that. Um, you got to take the credit for the
08:10lamps. So good old, uh, we don't need, we don't dumb over here. They've just done an incredible
08:16job. Uh, it really, this is my squad, the three of us right here. You know, I think the four of us,
08:23you, me, and the lamps are, um, that's our, our little virtual squad, you know?
08:29Absolutely. Honestly, we can accomplish anything, Jody. We can accomplish anything.
08:35We did take over the world. Yes, we can.
08:41You are so funny. Listen, Ken, I honestly absolutely adore you. I'm going to tell
08:47everybody that asks me who I've spoken to that you're now my favorite celebrity for being so
08:53kind and getting me through this. I don't know what's just happened, but listen, when you're,
08:57when you're next in London or Scotland, I definitely owe you some Scottish goodies.
