00:00What do you want to go?
00:03What do you want to do?
00:04You want to play a little?
00:05Would you rather the clean version?
00:06Yeah, let's play.
00:07Would you rather and also I want to encourage everybody sign your sons and your daughters
00:12up for flag football.
00:13Okay.
00:14My daughter's been playing in the co-ed league for many years now.
00:17Go sign them up.
00:18It's a great way for them to learn the game and have some fun.
00:21It's flag football is a fantastic opportunity there for everybody.
00:24So there's NFL flag leagues all over the place.
00:26Go join one.
00:27I'm telling you, you'll be very happy.
00:29You did.
00:30It's a great environment.
00:31Really cool stuff there.
00:32So that's enough of that.
00:33Let's get to some of the running backs here because I thought it'd be fun to play a little
00:36would you rather these are running backs on the same team at different ADPs.
00:39So it really comes down to what kind of investment you want to make a certain player is one guy
00:43at a higher ADP, a better investment than the guy to lower ADP.
00:46That's an important question.
00:47Sometimes these ADPs are close.
00:50Sometimes they're pretty far apart.
00:51So you have to pay a lot more capital for certain guys.
00:54So we're going to start with the commanders.
00:55We have a new head coach, Dan Quinn, who I really like.
00:58I think Dan Quinn's a good football coach.
00:59I do believe that the second time around, you see a lot of head coaches get it right
01:03the second time.
01:04And Dan Quinn, I think, could be one of those guys.
01:06I really do.
01:07He's got a really good track record and a couple of different stops here.
01:09So I'm looking at him to get this team right.
01:11And he's got a young quarterback in Shane Daniels who's going to run the football quite
01:15a bit.
01:16So you have now Austin Eckler coming into town from the Chargers.
01:19He is going on right now at an ADP of 95 overall, RB 31, which is probably where he is right
01:26now in his career.
01:27Right.
01:28So he's probably the type of football you're looking at as more of a flex guy than necessarily
01:31an RB 2.
01:33And then you have Brian Robinson Jr.
01:35Stand out at Alabama, really solid running back.
01:38He is at ADP 108 and RB 34 on the board.
01:42So Robinson a little bit cheaper.
01:44So what I'm trying to parse these two, a lot of it does have to do theoretically into format,
01:48right?
01:49PPR format.
01:50Theoretically, Austin Eckler is more intriguing there.
01:53My concern with Eckler is the injury starting to pile up here with the wear and tear.
01:58He is a smaller player.
01:59He is going to be working in this committee.
02:00He's also not going to get a lot of goal line opportunities with Brian Robinson around.
02:03That's what worries me the most because if Eckler does get hurt or is dealing with injuries
02:08throughout the year, you already know he's not scoring touchdowns.
02:11So I think I would rather fade Eckler and wait another maybe round and select Brian
02:16Robinson Jr.
02:17Especially in half PPR leagues are standard because I think there's going to be more goal
02:20line work for him and probably more first down work for him to where he's going to be
02:25on first and second down a little bit more.
02:28We'll see what this offense looks like.
02:29Maybe we'll get a different picture of it potentially in preseason in August.
02:33This is one of those teams that I want to watch in preseason.
02:37Preseason doesn't mean anything except for the teams where it means everything and the
02:39commanders.
02:40I think it means a lot because you have new coach, new quarterback, new system, everything,
02:45new player, like a lot of new stuff.
02:47How is it working out?
02:48We're not going to get a lot of answers, but we might get some and I think that's a team
02:51to watch this summer.
