00:00 The last three wishes of Alexander the Great
00:04 When Alexander the Great came back to his country after conquering the empires, he fell ill.
00:12 Because of which he became a bedridden man.
00:15 He gathered his generals and told them to leave this world soon.
00:22 I have three wishes, please fulfill them.
00:27 The king told his generals to fulfill these last three wishes.
00:33 1. The Greek king of Macedonia said,
00:37 My doctors should only pick up my coffin.
00:41 2. I want that when my coffin is taken to the grave,
00:47 the way to the graveyard should be filled with the wealth I have collected.
00:54 3. My third and last wish is that my hands should be hanging outside my coffin.
01:05 Alexander said.
01:07 The generals expressed their last wish to obey their king.
01:14 When asked why they did this, Alexander the Great said,
01:19 I want the world to know the three lessons I have learned.
01:25 The king translated his wish and continued.
01:29 I want my doctors to take my coffin.
01:35 Because people should understand that no doctor on this earth can really cure anyone.
01:42 They are helpless before death.
01:44 The king said his second wish.
01:49 I have spent my entire life earning wealth.
01:52 But I can't take anything with me.
01:57 People should know that wealth is nothing but dust.
02:01 3. I want people to know that I have come to this world empty handed and I am leaving empty handed.
