Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is set to portray Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar in his upcoming biographical sports drama ‘Chandu Champion.’ The actor had an Exclusive Interview with IANS, wherein he opened up about his transition from ‘Sattu’ to ‘Chandu’. “I don’t think I have ever played a character as deep and challenging as ‘Sattu’ in ‘Chandu Champion’.” Kartik shared that he used to just blindly follow Kabir Khan. "I followed him like a student. And I would like to say that it is 'before Chandu' and 'after Chandu' for me. It's so much of a change that this film has brought into me and in my life," he said.

00:00What was the most difficult part of the shoot?
00:05It took a lot of time in terms of physicality.
00:08Because I had just finished my Freddie film and Satyaprem's shoot had just started.
00:14And there was no requirement of physicality.
00:17So I was a big foodie.
00:21And at that time, I was eating without any restrictions.
00:27But apart from that, I think the character of Sattu was again different from playing a character like Muralikant Sir.
00:37Because it is a real life story.

01:46So I just followed Kabir Sir blindly.
01:49Whatever he told me, I just followed it like a student.
01:55And yeah, I am really glad that this happened.

02:02Not just Sattu, I would say that it is me before Chandu and after Chandu.
