The Princess of Wales has sent a touching letter to the Irish Guards ahead of rehearsals for Trooping the Colour. Princess Catherine apologised for missing the Colonel’s Review today and wished the troops good luck. The Irish Guards shared a video of the heartfelt letter being read out on social media. Catherine took over from her husband, Prince William, as Colonel of the Regiment last year. The ceremonial military event is held a week ahead of the Trooping the Colour Parade which has marked the monarch’s birthday for decades. Report by Bangurak.
