00:00 And while the trial is rolling on in Delaware, House Republicans in Washington are sending
00:03 criminal referrals to the Justice Department. This could be a big development. They want Hunter
00:08 and Jim Biden to be charged for lying to Congress. Hunter's accused of downplaying
00:13 his ties with a company he owns a major stake in, that's Rosemont Seneca Bohai,
00:18 and lying about sending a threatening message to the wrong Chinese business partner.
00:22 And Jim Biden allegedly lied by saying Joe Biden didn't meet with Hunter's business partner
00:28 back in 2017. Congresswoman Nancy Mace is on the oversight committees, one of those committees
00:34 making those referrals. Nancy, why now? What evidence were you able to gather that said,
00:39 "Hey, we want to refer this to the Justice Department"?
00:41 Well, we had information that came out of the Ways and Means Committee about the whistleblowers
00:46 and some additional information that proved that both Hunter Biden and James Biden perjured
00:52 themselves throughout this entire process. And perjury is a serious crime, and we ought to refer
00:58 charges over their lies to Congress. There ought to be consequences. The American people ought to
01:03 know the truth, and this is one way to get them the truth.
01:05 You're referring charges to Joe Biden's Justice Department. Is there any way in which they get
01:12 a fair hearing? Could there be enough evidence presented that it's, "Hey, we have to do something
01:18 here"?
01:18 Well, we would love to see the Justice Department do something, but it will be on them to do that.
01:24 And so far, I mean, when you talk to some of these whistleblowers and witnesses and you know that
01:28 Hunter Biden, for example, lied to Congress, why hasn't the Justice Department moved already?
01:34 Because this is a crime. They're trying to cover up, I believe, Joe Biden's involvement here,
01:38 based on all the evidence that we found, tens of millions of dollars funneled from China and
01:42 Russia and other places. This ought to move swiftly. But again, the Justice Department
01:47 is at the hands of Joe Biden. So it's a very complicated process.
01:50 Yep. But it's still important work. It's worthy to be done. You put it in front of
01:53 of the American people, they can make their own judgments.
01:56 Nancy Mace, thank you so much.
