00:00Kyle, they had like a 29 point lead, I believe, at one point and then Dallas got hot for a
00:08little bit, but this game was never close.
00:11The point spread was never close and you know, you don't want to make too much of one game,
00:17but I will say this.
00:18If Dallas looks like this again in game two, I can't be optimistic that they're going to
00:22win the series.
00:23Yeah, that was an extremely, extremely impressive performance by the Boston Celtics.
00:29You know, coming out with that level of energy and the crowd was really into it, so it's
00:33tough to kind of lay an egg like that.
00:34But you know, I was most impressed with the way that they responded to the Mavericks run
00:38in the third quarter.
00:39Once Luka finally got it going, got a rhythm a little bit, and that's usually the moments
00:43where the Celtics would break down, allow the Mavericks to come back into this game
00:47and then take the game all the way down to the wire.
00:49But instead, you know, Joe Mazzullo took a timeout, they got their defense right again.
00:53Luka Doncic had to step out of the game to make sure that he was ready to go for the
00:56fourth quarter.
00:57And the Celtics were able to put it at a comfortable lead to the point that they didn't have to
01:00worry about it in the fourth quarter.
01:02Kristaps Porzingis' return could not have gone better than it did.
01:05He dominated on both ends of the floor, showed why he is such a mismatch on the offensive
01:10end in a massive difference maker for Boston.
01:12Then on the defensive end, he really shut off those lobs that Dallas has been getting
01:15all playoffs.
01:16So, you know, the way that the Celtics played in game one, you know, that is the best level
01:21of Boston Celtics basketball that you could probably see aside from, you know, maybe getting
01:24a little bit more in the scoring department from Jason Tatum, but, you know, the Mavericks
01:28have a lot of work to do in the adjustments that they're going to get back in the series.
