लोकसभा चुनाव में पूर्ण बहुमत हासिल करने के साथ ही नई सरकार गठित करने जा रहे एनडीए गठबंधन की संसदीय दल की बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से नरेंद्र मोदी को प्रधानमंत्री पद के लिए चुन लिया गया। इसके लिए पीएम मोदी ने भी घटक दलों के सभी साथियों का आभार जताया। अपने संबोधन में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कांग्रेस पर महिलाओं को सालाना 1 लाख रुपए देने वाले वादे को लेकर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि दो दिन से मैं देख रहा हूं कि कांग्रेस के दफ्तरों पर लोग कतार लगाकर खड़े हैं कि ये पर्ची है 1 लाख रुपए कहां हैं लाओ भई। आपने जनता जनार्दन की आंखों में कैसी धूल झोंक दी कि वो बेचारा सामान्य नागरिक ये मानकर चल रहा था कि 4 जून के बाद पैसा मिल जाएगा इसलिए वो जाकर खड़ा हो गया, और अब उसको धक्का मारा जा रहा है, डंडे मारे जा रहे हैं वहां से निकाला जा रहा है। ये हमारे देश के सामान्य नागरिकों का अपमान है।
