“Why put yourself through immense suffering and hardships?” someone asked me.
Life’s journey is an adventure, full of twists and turns, and unexpected challenges. When we follow our passions, we will often encounter hardships that will cause us immense discomfort. At times, we would want to give up, but we must carry on. There is no other way than to follow your inner calling. That’s the only way to find your authentic self. The love and the effort we put into our work may all be deemed meaningless and worthless by others. Let them say what they want. We must keep walking on our path, even if it is densely fogged. We seek no reward other than deeper fulfillment that only comes when we feel at heart.
The blood and the sweat that we put into our pursuits purify both body and soul. It’s a journey of self-discovery, where we build strength, courage, and determination as we evolve as individuals.
