Gauff calls for VR system for umpires after French Open disappointment

Gauff has called for the introduction of a replay system for umpires after her French Open semi-final exit.

00:48 100% I think it's you know, tennis is the only sport where not only we don't have the VR system

00:55 But a lot of times the decisions are you know made by one person and other sports

01:02 There's usually a multiple refs and and making a decision and I know us open

01:07 I think brought some of it last year believe and I know we used it in our doubles at one point

01:13 So yeah, I definitely think that at this point it is almost

01:24 also, there's so many decisions that are made and then it sucks as a player to like go back or

01:30 Online and and you see that you were completely right and it's like, you know

01:34 What what does that give you in that moment and also, you know in in situations you can call for the supervisor

01:40 But there's not much they can do from that standpoint

01:43 So I definitely think as a sport we have to evolve and we have the technology

01:49 They're showing it on TV. So I don't get why the player can't see it
