00:00It has to be carried out quickly but I've got till the 1st of July before pre-season
00:05to get the players in and we've obviously got to the 10th of August to get everyone
00:10in so we've still got a lot of time, what happens now, I don't panic but players panic
00:18because they're without a club and the month of May has gone, the month of June is that
00:23a lot of clubs will have done their business, there'll be players that haven't signed
00:28for clubs and wondering where they're going to go for next season so it's up to me to
00:33try and from a budgetary point of view pick these players up and find them and then develop
00:39them into our team for next season.
00:41I know what the budget is, I'm going to tomorrow sit down and put that against players that
00:48I want to work it in a way that is possible and then going forward from there so I'm quite
00:53clear in how I want to work, everything else doesn't really concern me, that's for the
01:01board of directors, the owners to get on with which is fine and I'll look after my side
01:07as best as I can.
01:08I haven't spoken to anyone as yet, the only people that I've spoken to is the backroom
01:15staff that I had here before in Barry Roach, Ollie House and Les Dewhurst so I've spoken
01:20to them and I did that but player wise I haven't done that as yet.
01:25If we develop the players for the other clubs then that's what they want us to do, we give
01:30them game time, they do well for us, they coach, they're looked after and that's why
01:34I've been able to get so many loan players in over the time, I went to Ross County last
01:41season and we took in seven players on loan in January so it's a market that is out there,
01:46you just have to pick up the quality of players that we can and we did that at the start of
01:51last season, the likes of the Bloxons, the Merlins, the Kings were all good signings
01:55for us at the start of the season and I've gone on to do well.
