King Charles banknotes enter circulation today: Where can you get them in London?

00:17collection and for my grandson's tuition.

00:19I was walking past the Bank of England, which I do every day, I was grabbed by these lovely

00:24ladies over there saying, would you like to exchange your money for notes with King Charles,

00:29which I never knew that there were new notes available, and it was a first day edition

00:34or first day release.

00:35She said, how much have you got on you?

00:37I said, tenner.

00:38She said, you know, if you want, get £300 and you can exchange it along, get one of

00:43the notes.

00:44I said, no, I'll do a tenner, so my grandson Charlie can have my two five pound notes with

00:50King Charles on.

00:51I've come from Sheffield.

00:54I came down last night actually.

00:56I've been collecting coins for quite a while, so the new banknote coming out, it was a must

01:02So yeah, I made the trip and I managed to get them this morning.
