00:00It's always a special moment to introduce a new 911, and today there are two of them.
00:20The 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera GTS.
00:30The Carrera has the well-known 3.0-litre six-cylinder bi-turbo engine, which our engineers from the engine development have optimized in essential components,
00:40by using the intercooler from the previous 911 Turbo and the turbochargers from the previous GTS models.
00:48This allowed us to increase the Carrera's performance. It now has 394 hp at 450 Nm of torque.
00:56With the optionally available Sport Chrono package, the 911 Carrera sprints from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds.
01:03This makes it the first Carrera to achieve the sprint from 0 to 100 in less than 4 seconds.
01:08The top speed is 294 km per hour.
01:12Our design team has made two major changes to the rear, which make the car appear more modern and fresh.
01:19First of all, the taillights, which include the integrated light beam and the integrated Porsche logo, give the car even more width.
01:28And what our design team has also re-implemented is the air intake grille, which now has five lamellas, which looks even more striking and sporty.

03:24What do I recognize from the new 911 Carrera GTS?
03:27From the front, the newly designed, visible five vertically adjustable lamellas, which are part of the cooling concept.

03:41What are the essential components for our performance hybrid?
03:45First, a 400 V high-voltage battery with a capacity of 1.9 kWh, which is exactly where the 12 V battery has been so far.
03:56Second, the e-machine in the PDK transmission.
04:00Third, the completely newly developed 3.6 liter monoturbo engine.
04:06And fourth, the electric exhaust turbocharger, which is located at the rear right of the engine.
04:13The electric exhaust turbocharger is also the component that gave our performance hybrid its name.
04:19Turbo-hybrid or, in short, T-hybrid.
04:22The electric exhaust turbocharger has an e-motor between the compressor wheel and the turbine wheel.
04:28This e-motor ensures immediate load pressure build-up, regardless of the speed and load.
04:34This means that I already have a significantly optimized acceleration behavior at low revs and low loads.
04:41The system power is 398 kW, which is 541 hp and thus 61 hp more than the predecessor vehicle.
04:50The acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved by the new 11 Carrera GTS in 3.0 seconds.
04:56Again, it is 0.4 seconds faster than the predecessor vehicle.
05:00The top speed is 312 kmph.
05:04One of the hardest obstacles for us is the lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
05:09We put our brand ambassador, Jörg Bergmeister, behind the wheel and he did a fantastic lap.
05:14He was 8.7 seconds faster with the new 911 Carrera GTS than with the predecessor model.
05:20The fantastic lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife is not only attributed to the drive concept, but we have also further developed the chassis.
05:28At the rear, we have significantly widened the wheels.
05:31We are now 315 mm wide and the tires sit on the newly designed central locking rim.
05:40As standard, the new 911 Carrera GTS now has rear-axle steering.
05:45The Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control is also integrated into the 400 V system and now works even more flexibly and precisely.
05:53Let's take a look inside.
05:58As with the predecessor models of the Carrera GTS, Racetex is also used extensively here.
06:04This vehicle features the sports seat, the lid of the center console, the steering wheel and the door panel.
06:11And as standard, the new Carrera GTS now also has a roof in Racetex.
06:17And here on the vehicle, the seams are in contrasting color.
06:22I can promise you that no one has to worry about the word hybrid in a 911.
06:27Because our T-Hybrid concept offers significantly increased performance with even more driving pleasure compared to the predecessor model.
