Did Alina Habba hold back when addressing that viral photo of her in a bikini at Mar-a-Lago? You won't believe what she said.

00:00 "I'm 39 years old. I am not dead yet, and I'm most certainly not going to wear a suit
00:08 to the pool."
00:09 That's what Donald Trump's controversial attorney, Alina Habba, had to say about a viral photo
00:14 that was snapped of her at Mar-a-Lago in January 2024. The caption reads,
00:19 "This is Trump's lawyer. Eat your heart out, Biden."
00:22 A number of people weren't impressed that the Trump supporter who posted the pic seemed
00:26 to equate her looks with her skills as a lawyer. One ex-user sarcastically wrote,
00:31 "Since courtrooms generally expect swimwear during proceedings, how she looks half-dressed
00:35 is critically important to determine her ability and competence."
00:39 Another user wrote,
00:40 "1. Biden isn't a criminal and doesn't need a lawyer. 2. If he did, he'd pick based on
00:46 ability, not appearance."
00:47 In response to these commenters, Habba told the OutKick podcast,
00:51 "To anyone who cares to make comments on what I wear, find a life. I mean, I don't know
00:56 what to tell you."
00:57 Habba was relatively humbled about the picture, which shows her with an impressive set of
01:02 six-pack abs that seems more digital than real. She even said herself,
01:06 "I'm pretty sure that that was an edited photo. I looked at it and I was like, 'I don't think
01:11 I look like that.'"
01:12 Habba wasn't alone. Some commenters on the post also noted that the pic seemed to be
01:16 altered. One user wrote,
01:18 "Also, you do realize this is photoshopped, right? Hint, look at the bending umbrella
01:22 to the right of her."
01:24 While the viral bikini photo may have been edited, it's hard to deny that Habba always
01:28 made a point to look her best during Trump's hush money trial. It made a stark contrast
01:32 to Trump's courtroom look, which was often a bit, uh, disheveled.
01:36 Habba has been open about the value that she places on her looks, and she seems self-aware
01:41 about her appearance. On an episode of the PBD podcast, she said,
01:45 "I don't think I would be on TV or sitting here if I didn't look the way I look."
01:50 She also said that someone once asked if she'd prefer to be pretty or smart. To this, she
01:55 responded,
01:56 "Pretty. I can fake being smart."
01:58 While she was probably just being cheeky, it goes without saying that Trump critics
02:02 likely won't let that comment go for quite some time, considering how the hush money
02:07 trial panned out.
02:08 "Guilty on all 34 felony counts. That is the verdict here in this case."
02:14 That said, Habba was not Trump's lead attorney on that case. For that one, it was attorney
02:18 Todd Blanche. As of this video, Trump is due back in court on July 11th to receive his
02:24 sentence. Legal experts are divided on what that sentence will actually be. Some believe
02:29 Judge Juan Merchan will only give him probation, while others think he might end up receiving
02:34 the max sentence possible — 20 years in prison.
02:37 And that's a look at some of the most controversial facts about the Trump administration.
