00:00 We're going to talk about the storms here points north from Texas, where we've had some flash flooding earlier on around Dubuque, some mean looking thunderstorms here continuing at this hour as they charge their way toward Milwaukee.
00:11 Lots of lightning, torrential rain and some gusty winds accompanying some of these thunderstorms.
00:16 Let's venture our way out here toward Milwaukee.
00:18 And again, I want to do a minute cast to talk about the potential for more precipitation here over the next hour or so.
00:26 So minute cast is a great product you can check out on our free Accuweather app.
00:30 And this is going to be a minute by minute precipitation forecast.
00:33 It shows you when it turns heavy, when it turns lighter.
00:36 And we're in for multiple rounds here of thunderstorms in and around Milwaukee.
00:40 So a buckle up here over the course of the next couple of hours.
00:43 Again, if you are going to be outs and abouts again, there can be some poor drainage area flooding.
00:48 Also looking at the potential here for, again, some gusty winds and frequent lightning.
00:52 Now, eventually those thunderstorms will say goodbye as they slide their way out east over Lake Michigan later on tonight.
00:58 We'll be in for a quieter late night, but then we'll start to see some ingredients meshing together for a severe weather as we go into Tuesday.
01:07 So you see the cooler, the drier air off to the north and the west and the surge of warmth and humidity lifting all the way north here into northern Minnesota.
01:15 So where we see these air masses collide, we're going to see thunderstorms develop.
01:19 And these can be ongoing in the morning, but really is starting to intensify as we work our way toward the midday hours,
01:24 perhaps developing points south here along Interstate 35 toward Interstate 80,
01:30 and around Des Moines by the afternoon.
01:32 And these will be capable of producing, again, damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes.
01:38 Some of those winds can be in excess of 65 miles per hour, especially where you see the level two,
01:44 the moderate risk here implying numerous severe thunderstorms.
01:48 So we're looking at an increased concentration as we go into Wednesday.
01:52 Severe thunderstorms still in parts of the area, stretching from Texas all the way northbound toward Detroit.
01:57 Hail, flooding downpours and damaging winds will all be a possibility.
