00:00 Austin, heck of a fight out there today.
00:02 How crucial was having a strong run this afternoon
00:05 when it comes to the entirety of this season?
00:07 Well, man, I just got to thank the good Lord above.
00:10 It's been a rough two years, really.
00:12 And to come out with a sixth place finish is huge.
00:15 And our Dow, Rivers are Live, Chevy, all of our partners,
00:18 Ducks Unlimited, to get them a good run here in St. Louis
00:21 was big.
00:22 And I didn't see it coming, but my guys
00:24 did a great job adjusting the car after practice.
00:27 Good calls on the box by Justin Alexander, and man,
00:30 it feels so good to run up there with those guys.
00:32 Good calls on the box.
00:33 You guys decided to stay out there at the beginning
00:36 and run on those old tires, but you
00:37 handled it incredibly well.
00:39 Describe to me the track conditions
00:40 and how that move worked in your favor.
00:42 Yeah, traffic's so hard here.
00:43 And if you can get some clean air on the car,
00:45 you're driving something different.
00:47 And it kind of worked our way.
00:49 And then we had a good restart when
00:50 we got back in traffic again in around 12th place.
00:53 And we're able to capitalize on that.
00:55 And just really a good race car after that,
00:58 after we got the clean air.
01:00 So going road course racing this weekend at Sonoma,
01:02 thoughts on that?
01:03 You a road course guy?
01:04 You confident heading there?
01:05 Yeah, I've gained a lot of confidence at the road races.
01:08 And hopefully we can have some fun
01:11 on that new pavement in Sonoma.
01:13 Thanks for the time, Austin.
