00:00 But difficult though it is, I can't let down those millions of people.
00:05 I simply can't do it. It'd be wrong.
00:08 So I have decided, I've changed my mind.
00:13 It's allowed you know, it's not always a sign of weakness.
00:17 It could potentially be a sign of strength.
00:21 So I am going to stand in this election.
00:25 I'll be launching my candidacy at midday tomorrow
00:28 in the Essex seaside town of Clacton.
00:31 So midday tomorrow, Clacton, at the end of the pier.
00:35 [Applause]
00:39 But perhaps more important than that,
00:42 I've made a far bigger decision than that.
00:46 Richard is more than happy for me to put my head and shoulders
00:51 firmly over the parapet and take the flak.
00:54 So I'm coming back as leader of Reform UK,
00:58 but not just for this election campaign.
01:00 I'm coming back for the next five years.
01:04 And there is one very simple reason for that.
01:07 We all know already that the Conservative Party will be in opposition.
01:13 But it won't be the opposition.
01:15 They are incapable of it.
01:17 They've spent most of the last five years fighting each other
01:20 rather than standing up and fighting for the interests of this country.
01:25 They are split down the middle on policy,
01:28 and frankly right now, they don't stand for a damn thing.
01:32 So our aim in this election is to get many, many millions of votes.
