00:27 I think my getting ready playlist is probably anything that has some Tina Marie on there.
00:33 I do love a good 80s, 90s throwback session.
00:38 The music from that time, I feel like all of us here were kind of chatting about, is just so rich.
00:44 There's always such a good story being told in those songs.

00:57 My favorite part of getting ready for an event like this is definitely the creative process that happens before this moment.
01:07 So, like, working with hair, makeup, styling to sort of put the puzzle pieces together and really build the look.
01:15 Kind of go on that journey of finding pieces, having pieces find you.

01:22 It is this beautiful, like, sheer, tulle, pink, nude, black dress from Prabhu Garun.
01:33 This Asian-American designer that I'm super excited to step out in.
01:38 I've never seen anything like it, and I think that the hair, makeup, accessories that we've got going to sort of complement it.
01:47 Like, they've really come together to make a look.
01:52 A look that I'm ready to serve.
01:54 A lot of this look just came together out of trust.

01:58 Trust and faith and hope and extremely talented individuals is what it is.
02:04 Trusting good people, trusting people who are not only excellent at their job, but who also love what they do.
02:10 The dress that we ended up with is literally, I think it was the last dress that we tried on.
02:15 We're kind of just like, "Okay, I think we found our piece. I think we're good to go."
02:19 And we're both kind of like, "Let's just see what this one looks like."
02:23 Put it on, and we're like, "Okay, yeah, so this is the dress."

02:26 Which is hilarious because we almost didn't try it on.

02:41 We've got such a strong look that I think it's important to balance it with hair and makeup that's also pretty easy and soft.
02:53 And yeah, it just kind of helps complement it.

03:00 The nail color is also very simple.
03:03 Bubble Bath. Love her.
03:07 Literally never a fail, but I also just learned, we were talking about this moments ago,
03:12 that there's this new glazed donut thing going on, which I did not know about.
03:15 But the nail tech was like, "Oh, do you want to try this?" I said, "Sure."
03:19 Honestly, after we spoke about what the initial idea was, I knocked out.
03:25 I woke up to these beautiful pink Bubble Bath, but also kind of iridescent, oval-shaped nails, which are super pretty.

03:38 I have a lip balm addiction.
03:42 And then other than some body moisturizer and my film camera, I think I'm pretty set.

03:52 Are we nervous? Are we nervous? Let's see.
03:57 I'm definitely, I think, intrigued to see what the vibes are going to be.
04:04 Definitely a lot of anticipation, but I don't know about nervous.
04:08 There's like this giddiness, but also like tingling that I'm feeling, but it's definitely more in the direction of excitement, I think.

04:21 After tonight, I'm definitely looking forward to the wind down, to the good shower, a good end-of-day stretch, pre-bed yoga flow.

04:37 Riri Williams is this 19-year-old super genius who has found herself at MIT.
04:45 Definitely overconfident and overcomfortable with her experience there.
04:51 She's not really looking to be understood or she's not looking to do anything other than maintain her self-interest.
04:59 And it's that sort of comfortability that gets her involved with Wakanda.
