00:03 >> You see Kikuchi of the Blue Jays, six and a half strikeouts.
00:07 You can get plus 120 if this goes over the under minus 150.
00:12 Pirates one of those teams too, I think, with Rowdy Tellez and
00:16 some others, you gotta check their lineup, I think, when you're making a bet like
00:20 this, but needless to say, Davis, do you like Kikuchi to go over this number or
00:25 under today?
00:27 >> I think I actually probably like the over.
00:30 Now, we are gonna have Connor Joe and McCutcheon at the DH slash for
00:34 space dots instead of Tellez because Kikuchi is a left handed hitter.
00:40 And one of the things that you would prefer when you are using a left handed
00:45 starting pitcher for one of these things, is they just end up in a spot where
00:49 they're against one of these teams.
00:50 The Phillies actually is a good example where the Phillies,
00:54 like two of their best hitters are left handed.
00:56 And that puts you into a nice spot where those guys are not gonna get platoon.
01:00 That is not the case for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
01:03 But Kikuchi also is, he vacillates fairly wildly,
01:08 start to start in effectiveness because it kind of depends
01:12 how many of his pitches he's got going for strikes in a day.
01:15 So for example, he can go up against the Baltimore Orioles,
01:18 maybe the best offense, second best offense in baseball, nine strikeouts,
01:22 one earned run, no walks.
01:24 But then he can go up against the crappy Detroit Tigers, no strikeouts,
01:28 five earned runs, doesn't get out of the third inning.
01:32 But I actually think I would lean over here if I was playing this one.
01:36 >> All right, let's check in with two more pitchers before we go.
01:38 I'm gonna show you two K props here.
01:40 The first is Frambois Valdez of the Astros.
01:42 He goes against the Twins, five and a half strikeouts is his number.
01:46 He's back now pitching, how deep he goes into the game,
01:48 I guess is the question here.
01:49 And then finally, Ranger Suarez of the Philadelphia Phillies,
01:53 they take on the Cardinals.
01:54 If this was a month ago, we'd be like banging the over all day long.
01:57 But the Cardinals all of a sudden, Davis have woken up playing better baseball.
02:00 >> Yeah, don't have a huge opinion on the Frambois one again.
02:05 I mean, just a little sports betting thing.
02:08 If you don't have a real opinion on a side, just take the under because
02:12 the market's always gonna like the over a little bit more.
02:15 And then with Suarez, guys pitching, he's the best freaking pitcher in baseball.
02:19 How about a nine strikeout start at Coors Field?
02:23 Pretty strong stuff there.
02:25 But I think he is completely sun running relative to who he's been for
02:30 the final or the first like eight years of his career.
02:33 So again, I'm taking the under on Ranger Suarez.
02:36 What a crazy start to the season for him.
