A MAN from New Jersey has stretched his Maserati sports car into a sleek, stylish stretch limousine. Jay Glick, who owns a fleet of limos, spent 10 months and over $75,000 transforming his 2016 Maserati Ghibli Sport. Cutting it in half and stretching its stock components by 130 inches, he has turned the luxury Italian car into one of the world’s fastest limos. Jay told FutureStudiosCars: “It’s elegant, it’s sporty, it’s modern. Right away, as soon as you get in this car you know you’re not in a regular limo. There’s nothing else that stands out like it.” The vehicle has proved a head-turner, drawing crowds of people wherever it goes. Jay added: “Limousines are all about not just taking a ride, but having a special ride. You can’t Uber one of these - that’s for sure.”

01:38A couple of years ago, I was trying to come up with a replacement unique vehicle.
01:42Something no one had, something I haven't seen before.
01:46Something that would be really recognizable to people and just kind of give people some excitement.
01:53And a vehicle like this doesn't come cheap.
01:56The base car has a cost of $75,000.
01:59To stretch these vehicles, you end up pretty much doubling the cost.
02:03And that doesn't include any of those adjustments that always have to be made or enhancements that we make after the initial build.
02:09For Jay, that was money well spent to own one of the world's fastest limos.
02:16This car actually surprisingly handles very well.
02:20This thing still kind of corners like it's on rails, which is pretty amazing.
02:28Just from the sound, the feel, it drives unlike any other limousine out there.

02:40First time I actually brought this car back, I had it at an Italian car club.
02:45And I'm racing up and down the parkway behind a bunch of friends of mine in their Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
02:51And they were all quite amazed at how the Maserati limo was staying right with them.
02:57I've driven it pretty aggressively, and it's a lot of fun to drive aggressive.
