00:00 So Dean I was at YAY last week and the prices seem to be similar so you're holding your own
00:04 here at Kynter today? Absolutely yeah we were really really wrapped with our day today. A lot
00:09 of our feeder steers, good black feeder steers were making $3.50 roundabouts. When we got on to
00:16 our spring drop weaners which we had quite a few of, we certainly saw the better ones of those
00:22 cattle making up towards four bucks and some did make four but you wanted $3.80 to $3.90 to buy
00:29 those better black steers if they're in lines and they're well bred. And you've been trying to
00:34 encourage breeders to bring lines forward and they did today. There were five or six different
00:39 breeders who brought lines of drafts of cattle together to put into this sale I believe.
00:44 Absolutely yeah we had a couple of guys with 100 odd cattle and with nutrient as well. There
00:50 was probably a couple with 100 and there was probably 10 or so clients that had about 50
00:55 cattle so yeah it was nice and you get those better pen lots when we have that happen.
00:59 And where were they going? A lot of cattle gone into Gippsland where the feed is.
01:03 All the heavy cattle went to TFI on feed, they were really strong. You saw some locals buy back
01:11 into some little steers, obviously people would have sold their bullocks recently. Some of the
01:16 better Pensa heifers went back into the paddock to breed and we saw quite a number of the heifers
01:21 going to the arena.
