00:00 "You know him as Diddy, formerly Puff Daddy, big time rapper, big time producer,
00:04 big time superstar, and now the feds at his houses in both locations."
00:08 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're bringing you up to speed on the bombshell
00:13 allegations levied against hip-hop mogul Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs.
00:16 Note, the details of these cases, as they've been reported, have not been confirmed or denied
00:22 in a court of law, and are subject to rapid change as more information is revealed.
00:27 "Tell me if you like it now, I've been waiting, think I'm gonna make you mad."
00:35 Combs is accused of physically abusing Cassie.
00:38 "The first of those came from singer Cassie Ventura, known as Cassie,
00:42 who accused Combs of sexual abuse and sex trafficking during the decade they were together."
00:47 Cassie Ventura's earth-shattering November 2023 lawsuit against Combs is chilling for a number
00:53 of reasons. However, please be advised that the specifics it goes into are hard to stomach.
00:59 Ventura's attorneys claimed that Combs, quote, "often punched, beat, kicked, and stomped" on Ms.
01:05 Ventura, resulting in multiple injuries, and, quote, "demanded that Ms. Ventura carry his
01:10 firearm in her purse just to make her uncomfortable and demonstrate how dangerous he is."
01:15 "And then he says, 'Tell your girl she wants some birthday s---.' And we were like,
01:22 'Well, I mean, he's saying this to me.' And I'm like, 'Well,
01:25 she doesn't have to have sex with you if she doesn't want to.'"
01:27 The lawsuit also claims that Combs' employees often witnessed his crimes,
01:31 but said nothing for fear of retribution.
01:34 It should be noted that Cassie was just 19 when she met Combs,
01:37 sometimes referred to as P. Diddy, who was age 37 at the time in 2005.
01:50 What Happened to Kid Cudi's Car?
01:52 "Disturbation, I'm that mister. I do what I please. I keep it civil,
01:57 keep my circle with the real ones on my side."
02:00 One person no one expected to catch strays in all of this legal drama was Kid Cudi.
02:05 The Cleveland MC is named in Cassie's initial November 2023 legal filing,
02:10 which explains that in 2011, Ventura had expressed a romantic interest in Cudi,
02:15 born Scott Mescidi, via correspondence between the two.
02:19 Upon discovering this, Combs allegedly assaulted Ventura and threatened to destroy Mescidi's car,
02:25 specifying that he wanted his fellow rapper to bear witness to this.
02:29 The suit claimed that the aforementioned vehicle did indeed explode sometime later,
02:41 which was then confirmed by the Day and Night singer himself.
02:44 It must be noted, however, that no legal evidence
02:47 tying Combs to this incident has been confirmed to exist.
02:50 Combs' sons were reportedly involved.
02:59 An amended complaint, part of a 2024 lawsuit filed against Combs,
03:03 accuses not only the mogul, but his son Justin of being involved in and possibly
03:08 even helping to orchestrate a 2022 shooting of one of Justin's friends
03:13 at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles.
03:15 A little more on Rodney Jones, the man who filed the suit, to come later on,
03:31 but Jones alleged that he was forced by Combs to deny the latter's involvement.
03:35 Similarly, in April 2024, Combs and his other son Christian were sued by Grace O'Markig,
03:42 who accused them of covering up a sexual assault committed against her by Christian.
03:46 Cassie isn't Combs' only accuser.
03:49 "I don't think people understand what it's like to be traumatized by somebody famous
03:53 and rich, because you can't get away from them."
03:56 Cassie Ventura's lawsuit against Combs was only the beginning.
03:59 As soon as she went public with her story, others soon started to come forward,
04:03 a pattern probably not unfamiliar to those with knowledge of the Me Too movement.
04:07 "To show a common scheme or plan, a lack of mistake, that Sean Combs is allegedly a person
04:14 who uses violence and drugs and sexual abuse to harm his victims."
04:19 After Combs and Ventura moved to settle the latter suit out of court,
04:22 the rapper was immediately hit with two more lawsuits alleging similar misconduct.
04:27 More on the sordid details of one of those cases soon.
04:31 Another anonymous suit was filed against Combs in December, and as of May 2024,
04:36 three more motions have been filed in New York,
04:39 all bearing signs of the now-disturbingly familiar allegations.
04:43 In her lawsuit, McKinney says later that night at Combs' recording studio,
04:47 she was pressured to consume alcohol and marijuana, including a joint she claims was laced.
04:52 Cassie's medical records were supposedly sent directly to Combs.
04:57 In no uncertain terms, Cassie's lawsuit against Combs accuses him of attempting to, quote,
05:02 "exert ownership" and "maintain a degree of control over various aspects of her life."
05:08 The suit itself names a specific example in which, quote,
05:11 "potentially due to excessive drug use and/or head injuries caused by Mr. Combs' beatings,
05:16 Ventura began to experience memory loss and sought out an MRI as a means of identifying its root cause."
05:23 Illustrating this, quote, "ownership" Combs supposedly felt he had over Cassie,
05:27 the suit alleges that the results of this MRI were routed directly to his personal email address.
05:33 "All I witnessed was him walking into the room and saying, 'Where the f--- is she?'
05:39 And I, I, I didn't know what was going on, because I was like, I just woke up from a slumber."
05:45 Multiple lawsuits associate Combs with creating and distributing explicit material for revenge.
05:50 "A Syracuse University college student says that Sean Diddy Combs took her out to dinner,
05:56 that she was drugged, and that she was drugged for the purpose of a sexual assault,
06:00 and that she was so drugged that she could not fight back."
06:02 According to a motion filed in New York State at the end of April 2024,
06:07 Joy Dickerson Neal claims that Combs, as per his alleged modus operandi,
06:11 not only drugged and sexually assaulted her, but filmed the encounter without her knowledge.
06:16 Chillingly, it doesn't end there.
06:19 After their 1991 encounter, Dickerson Neal accused Combs of distributing the supposed
06:24 tape after becoming aware that others had seen it.
06:27 "The accuser's 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her.
06:32 This is purely a money grab."
06:34 Combs' legal team asked for portions of Dickerson Neal's lawsuit to be thrown out of court.
06:39 This was on the basis that, per the Los Angeles Times,
06:42 quote, "the relevant New York laws regarding revenge porn and human trafficking did not
06:46 go into effect until decades after the alleged incident, 2019 and 2007, respectively."
06:53 "Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,
06:57 adding he was only compelled to 'apologize' once his repeated denials were proven false."
07:03 Combs is said to have hosted illicit parties.
07:06 "It's freaky, I'm picky baby, but I just spotted you,
07:08 doing your thing, G-string, shoe string, point of view, hey,
07:11 let me your body, you got me in a zone."
07:12 And that's putting it delicately.
07:14 According to the Miami Herald, quote,
07:17 "The parties often took place in some of Miami's most luxurious hotels,
07:21 including the Mandarin Oriental, the One Hotel, and the Fountain Blue.
07:25 However, what happened there was anything but classy."
07:28 They largely consisted of forced sexual encounters,
07:31 according to several of the numerous lawsuits filed against Combs in 2023 and 2024.
07:37 These parties are said to have been brutal and physically excruciating to those lured in,
07:42 and were often filmed by Combs himself,
07:45 who is reported to have referred to them as, quote, "freak-offs."
07:49 "Women lace 'em, G4 jets come in, twist 'em crooked,
07:52 sump on numbers, crivin', flip 'em, change 'em, Prissy, I'm bougie as good."
07:56 Combs' alleged male victim
07:58 "Throughout his time with Mr. Combs, Mr. Jones witnessed, experienced,
08:03 and endured many things that went far beyond his role as a producer on the Love Album."
08:09 As if the accusations from Combs' other alleged victims weren't troubling enough,
08:13 music producer Rodney "Little Rod" Jones Jr.
08:16 filed suit against the disgraced performer at the end of February 2024 in the state of New York.
08:22 Jones' explosive lawsuit claims that Combs drugged, groomed, and abused him after having
08:27 been hired to work on the latter's 2023 project, the Love Album, off the grid.
08:32 "Little Rod claims that Diddy forced him to work in the bathroom as Diddy showered,
08:38 and that Diddy engaged in constant, unsolicited, and unauthorized groping."
08:45 In a now-disturbingly familiar pattern of events,
08:48 Jones alleged that he was made to engage in intimate encounters with sex workers,
08:52 in addition to not being properly compensated for his work on the Love Album.
08:56 Jones is looking for a $30 million payout from Combs and his team.
09:00 "The federal authorities will look into the evidence that they've collected,
09:04 and then they'll go in front of a grand jury and try to get an arrest warrant for Diddy,
09:11 if there's enough."
09:12 Cassie's lawsuit claims that Combs paid $50,000 to retrieve that hotel footage.
09:17 "My behavior on that video is inexcusable.
09:20 I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.
09:25 Disgusted."
09:28 By now, those familiar with the Combs case are likely to have seen or at least heard
09:32 of the harrowing security camera footage of Combs attacking Cassie.
09:36 Even more disturbing, perhaps, are Combs' alleged efforts to silence Cassie and scrub
09:41 the existence of that footage and its contents.
09:43 "This is so damning. This is so horrific. It shows such, you know,
09:49 reprehensible and violent conduct."
09:52 While we won't show you all of that video due to the potentially triggering incident it depicts,
09:58 Cassie's lawsuit against Combs claims that the latter paid $50,000 to unknown parties
10:03 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles to suppress it.
10:06 The hotel has since asserted that it's under new management,
10:10 and that they, quote, "do not have access to prior incident records or footage."
10:14 "I'm so sorry.
10:15 But I'm committed to be a better man each and every day.
10:21 I'm not asking for forgiveness."

10:40 #3. Combs Allegedly Broke Into Cassie's House And Assaulted Her
10:45 In an Instagram post, Cassie writes, "Domestic violence is the issue.
10:48 It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work,
10:52 I am better today, but I will always be recovering from the past."
10:56 In a saga with no shortage of disturbing details,
10:59 one may be the most damning of all against Combs. That would be Ventura's claim explained in her
11:04 initial lawsuit that in 2018, Combs and Ventura had dinner together, after which Combs refused
11:10 to let her into her apartment by herself. At this point, the rapper-producer entered uninvited and
11:16 reportedly sexually assaulted Cassie. Following this encounter, Cassie severed ties with not only
11:22 Combs' Bad Boy record label, but with Combs himself as well. Combs, meanwhile, has categorically
11:28 denied all of the allegations set forth against him. "We should say the name of Cassie, the
11:33 survivor of the domestic violence. Let's talk more about her as well. Absolutely. Let's talk
11:36 about the issue period. Let's talk about the actual issue and not the individual."
11:40 If you or someone you know is struggling with trauma or other mental health issues,
